Thanks so much for the tips! I just started an 1800 calorie diet and have noticed my baby's a little more fussy at the breast than usual. I will try your suggestions.

I eat tons of baby carrots, grape tomatoes and light dips like hummus, light ranch, and drink tons of tea and coffee with light coffeemate and splenda. There are a lot of great soups too that are filling, healthy and very low in calories. Poached eggs and egg whites are great for protein.

Pickles wrapped in ham slices with a thin layer of light cream cheese in-between. Delicious!

If you can afford it, heart rate monitors that count calories are AMAZING! I was getting fed up with the inaccuracy of my xbox calorie counter and other fitness machines, and I just got a Polar FT4 which had great reviews, it was about $80. Sorry to sound like a salesman but these little watches are a dieter's dream!

I struggle with this too, especially right before bedtime. Sometimes I let veggies be "freebies" and don't add them to the calorie count.
