Hi I'll be 55 in Feb. I hit memopause last year and boy it's not easy to loose weight or cope with the hot flashes but exercising does help! I use to do weight watchers but didn't want to pay anymore so I found this site and I've lost 18 pounds since may and I love it! you can add me if you'd like:laugh:

I get up at 3:30 and I start exercising at 4 am, my hubby gets up at 5am to get ready for work, then I work from 8 to 5 I don't feel like working out after work, cuz we have to get up so early we like to just relax in the evening, so I'm an early riser and exerciser.

Hi Megan, I know I'm much older than you are, but if you'd like a friend on here you can add me, don't stress about needed to loose for men to find you attractive, because that's not a good reason, you have to want to do it for you. Hi, I'm the same way, if I want ice cream I will eat it, but I do exercise 5 days a week and I do eat pancakes, and today I ate a donut!!! it was yummy, I feel if I don't eat a treat every now and then that I will completely go off this life style and eat way too many bad things. Please add me!

I/ve lost a bald eagle too! and mine comes off slow also, but it's working! I have lost 12 pounds, I just need to do my check in sorry it says 11 right now

I did Weight Watchers also, it works, but this site is fantastic!! I love it, and will continue to use this instead of WW. I love having the support and to be held accountable! you can friend me if you want.

I exercise but not a fanatic, I do it because I'm 54 and need to in order for my body to let go of the weight and for my hot flashes, it really helps, but I also will eat a treat if I want it because if I deprive myself it will only make me want it more! so if you want a friend I'm here…

I put 35 pounds on in 5 months, after a car accident and was on all kinds of meds and couldn't exercise for 1 and 1/2 years until they did surgery. Well after surgery and getting off the meds, the weight didn't magically disappear, so I had to work at it, and of course my hitting 50 didn't help. I joined Weight Watchers…

I'm guilty of weighing myself everyday too, and sometimes I get discourged cuz I will have lost a few then it looks like I've gained it back but the next day it will be gone, drives me crazy!! but I do it because like everyone else I want to nip anything in the bud.

I don't always eat the all the calories back but some days I seem to be more hungry than others. I exercise because I want to firm up, I'm not getting any younger and I feel so much better when I exercise so I try to get in 45 minutes to 1 hour 6 days a week.
