Hi everyone, this is my first day here and I'd just like to say HELLO to everyone. I've previously tried various diets etc, including Biggest Loser, but being a 24/7 carer I find it extremely difficult to follow any set plan ... my friend was talking about myfitnesspal and it sounded like the type of thing I could really get in to. So, here I am!

Hope everyone's having a great day, just off to prepare tea. Take care, chat soon, x

Many thanks Belfastlassie. Looks like you're doing great with your 11lb lost already! Well done!!! Look forward to chatting with you again.

I would ask though, not being very good with computers, how'd you get that lovely graph at the bottom of your post?

    Take care,
    x

Go to tools on the top right hand side, then to 'weight loss ticker" - you can make your selection there.

Hi everyone, this is my second day here, I've been exercising on and off for months, I'm 54 and it seems like every time I really exercise 5 days a week and count calories I gain weight for the first week or two, does anyone else have that problem. I lost 35 pounds 4 years ago with weight watchers after gaining it from meds taken after a car accident and surgery, but I've gained 15 back and I don't want to join WW again cuz I don't have the money to pay, I saw this website on the news yesterday and so far it seems to be very similar to WW which is great. So... I will try this and hopefully with get some results as it will make me accountable for my eating and exercising. Happy Friday everyone

    Hi everyone,
First day for me also. Normally do WW when I need to shift a few lb, but fancied a change, so calorie counting could be fun.....will start hunting for menus I think to get the idea of it all.....
