  • I always just warm mine - I go for the chocolate variety. I love your ideas. I think I might try it with fiber one key lime yogurt and strawberries!
  • it's pretty much empty carbs - just like eating bread, but without the flavor. I grew up eating it for passover, and think it generally tastes like cardboard. I always gain weight for that week since I can only eat it with butter/sugar/cinnamon, almond butter/nutella or soaked in eggs and fried.
  • I had it while traveling in Alaska and it was AMAZING. this was a few years back so have no idea of nutritional info, but it was yummy!!
  • working out helps my cramps, so I work through it
  • it's going to vary a lot by class and person. I can go to one class and burn 600 calories if it's really up beat and intense or 400 if it's a crowd that's just not into it. I also know others that burn 800+ calories in an hour class and I have never been able to burn like that. best solution - enter it yourself if you have…
  • my all you can eat chinese buffet has SUSHI! I think I get my money's worth and get a good dose of protein by sticking with that. I also try to eat only the veggies in the stir fries.
  • what are you eating? I'm struggling to change my diet to include MORE protein! Although I am trying to get 40% protein in my diet.
  • I'm in too. One wedding at the end of June as a bridesmaid, one wedding in July as a guest (but a friend from high school, so really want to look good there) and again as a bridesmaid in Sept. I'm currently doing P90X, want to loose 5 more pounds but am more focused on having good abs/mid section!!
  • I love them. I don't mind the texture and find they are pretty tasteless when you parboil them as directed. It's all about the sauce with them. Good source of protein and only 40 calories/bag.
  • what are you doing for your additional cardio? maybe I should add some more ab ripper x or do cardio x on top of whatever work out is scheduled for that day...
  • also have the polar f6, although sometimes it double counts my heart rate, it normally resolves in a few minutes. love it otherwise.
  • As a vet I can tell you while it's not bad for dogs or cats to eat canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling), the only benefit is added fiber to their diet. It is not a wormer, although if your pet has worms, you will probably see some of the adults come out due to the added movement of fiber through the GI tract, it will…
  • i want it too!!!!!!!!!!!! just got a bread maker for christmas and need a good nutritious recipe
  • I certainly agree that a true friend is a friend regardless of circumstances (through thick and thin). but you might want to think about how things were from their perspective - they're in college, just starting adulthood. they probably are totally unfamiliar with pregnancy and young children. they may find your pregnancy…
  • search the message boards here for an ingredient you want to work with - chicken, beef, venison (I use it because we get it free from family/friends that are hunters and it is super lean), squash, spinach, etc; or type of meal - crock pot, soup, chili, etc and you're sure to find great recipes and reviews from other users!
  • finally started feeling like eating yesterday, so my BF and I kept our dinner reservation for NYE - only ate a fraction of everything I felt up to - enjoyed the flavor without feeling so full or heavy to push me back into the sick territory. took today off as well, but haven't really been super hungry so am well under…
  • I started week 4 3 days ago (did a day or cardio and a day of yoga - slightly off schedule due to time restraints. Yesterday during yoga I started to feel nauseous and it just got worse throughout the day. Icame down with a stomach bug (it's going around my office) but have been feeling better today, so hopefully back on…
  • I wear a HRM when doing P90X, I've found that I burn substantially different amounts than what any electronic estimate might come up with for cardio
  • ouch!! I had that happen to me twice already!! got hit hard on my hand and then once really hard on my chest!! I guess thats what we get for improvising!! ") [/quote] glad to know it's not just me!! Definitely need to get that chin up bar put up or some more durable bands!

  • kolbyjack - most of us on this list are in the first few weeks of p()x, we don't have to be on the same day but are learning together... I started legs and back today (second time doing it) and I normally use a band for the pull ups and loop it over a hoop that the previous owner had in the house for hanging plants. worked…

  • thanks for the link to the nutrition info online and welcome to the others just starting (or slightly ahead). I am so please that we have this little group together to keep each other motivated. I did arms and shoulders today and am beginning to feel it. Hopefully only sore in a good way tomorrow. I did figure out I need…

  • I have a yoga mat, resistance bands and some light weights (need to get something heavier for when this stuff gets easy). We have a chin up bar but it's not up yet, so I just loop resistance bands around my curtain rod and use that as they show you as a replacement for pull ups. There are also these bar things to help with…

  • I thought I would also put in my goals for tomorrow: shoulders and arms, and if I have time I'd like to do some yoga or plyometrics. I am hoping to be dome with work early (cross my fingers) as I only have 2 things scheduled, and if that goes smoothly, will have time to work out at home before getting my car fixed in the…

  • I'm doing the same thing - starting to use my HRM for all p90x exercises. Hopefully I will be somewhat consistent about calories burned and can just keep using the same numbers. Feel free to use the calories/routine that I have in my log - only ab ripper x and cardio so far. However, I'm only 127 pounds so I think I burn…

  • I have the original disks (no bootleg or other illegal versions - my father is a copyright lawyer, so I was raised that way). The disks are all from my BF's parents. I think they just didn't give us the nutrition part with everything else (bands, chin up bar, exercise schedule, etc). I am hoping to really get a lot out of…

  • use that break in the plateau to help you stay on track... look how good you are doing!!! Of course, easier said than done!
  • YAY for all the replies!!! I'm doing the lean version and unfortunately, the discs are hand-me-downs, so I don't have the nutrition plan. Last week all I did was crave food and carbs and I think I did more harm than good.... which is why I am back to myfitnesspal (I had been taking a break from counting calories and was…

  • I started with couch to 5k last year, and have not really stuck with it, but have stuck with running. I'm 5'2" and range from 127 to 129 depending on water intake right now. I can do treadmill running at 5mph for half an hour if it's not hot in the room. I've been running outside for the summer, and this morning it was…
