Because they didn't feel deprived, they were allowed things in moderation, they grew up knowing how to have a healthy relationship with food, but the question is are you a 'so called' parent for allowing them those snacks? ;-)
-
Please take the red circle off of this. It is a breach of cupcake rights! ;-)
-
I feel the need to eat a doughnut and grab a coffee! All in moderation of course ;-)
-
Hot air rises doesn't it? Pretty sure air thins out higher to causing lack of oxygen! But what would i know? I'm just a 'so called' parent!!!!

Obviously something to do with ED Treatment, looking through her posts and profile, those who judge shall be judged themselves!
-
Looking through the OP's previous posts, as far as I can tell she is ' recovering ' from an ED, therefore I feel really she has no place in judging what our children eat even more than I did before. I know we all have our own journeys for different things/reasons, but if you want to encourage our children of today to be…

You can get goggles, i leave my contacts in which you shouldn't really. Can get away with it if you don't need to put your face in. Or i just swim without them, can't see clearly, but as long as i can see to walk (short sighted) it really doesn't matter when you're in the water, its all blurry anyway!
-
Trick is to start with small steps so you don't overwhelm yourself :-) Add me if you want
-
Can I add, and I know lots of people I'll be teaching to suck eggs here, but it is very very very very (get the message lol) important to stretch, especially hip flexors and work on core strength when running, I loved the C25K app etc, but it only states warmup with a walk, obviously its not there to fully go into…
-
lol I was thinking that about the trainer, but you were much more to the point ;-)
-
Keep at it :-) honestly it will come :-)
-
Although I'm sure he done lots of running, its different, building up endurance takes time, i used C25K then 5210K app then the half marathon training app, and my pt has ran several marathons, although I'm way laid due to injury :-( but i think its a good idea to go back to it, it does work, slow right down and relax and…
-
But you got further then than now? Not having a go just trying to understand, does your pt have lots of running experience themselves? As it doesn't sound it?
-
Why are you not on a running programme like C25K?
-
Actually i can go on the treadmill and run for an hr and its ok, 20 minutes on a bike and I'm ready to doze off!
-
Although must add I'm starting to love spin class :-) And if running please realise the importance of proper stretching and core strength
-
Do what you enjoy the most!! Then you'll stick to.it. For me i prefer running, but due to injury can't now so bike it is, i burn more on the bike, but its not the same sort of cardio as running, if you aim to run distances you'll need to run, if its just a bit of running for fun then either will probably work for you.

Im on everyday, feel free to add me anyone :-)

Congrats on the loss, and having twins at any age is going to be hard work, even if they are not running around a park yet, when my son was little he was hard work on his own as I was constantly on the go! However I have to stress the 1200 may have worked for you for now, but long term it wont, and just a word of warning…

Can be quite serious at times
-
Is very creative and happy
-
Feel free to add me, log daily and open diary
-
Been on the site a while now with a fair bit more than 25lbs to lose, but anyone is free to add me
-
Know what you mean, and its even worse when I've done arms/shoulders with my pt!
-
Kirby grips for the back, mines shorter at the nape so doesn't all go into a ponytail, or just put up with the sweat lol
-
So on days you burn 1000 cals you're netting 500? You need to eat more. Try and eat half your exercise calories back, I've not looked at your diary for type of foods, but if you're not fueling your body it will hold onto what its got!

Just to put out there i am a mother of a 12yr old incase anyone wants to come in with any 'bet you haven't got kids' stuff. So why is weighing him so important all the time then if you're not aiming for something? Surely then you could back the kid off the scales and maybe only have him pop on them every month or so? I see…
-
but you have set a goal weight? Is this dr a ped? Sorry but cutting down junk i agree with but you describe an aim for the child to get to 85lbs and clearly weighing each week, specialists need consulting when children need to lose weight, not just the average gp?!
-
Maybe screaming the obvious and maybe you've done it, however your post doesn't make it sound like you have, but have you discussed this with a doctor?
-
No shame at all. Although not my first i have a 5k in December and may be walking it all as just done my hip flexor and may not be back up and running fully by then :-(
