  • Hello Karen. Welcome! :flowerforyou: I too hate exercise! I have found that dancing is the best exercise for me, as not only is it good for me, but I can get the kids involved in it as well!

  • Hello and Welcome! This is a very good site for both information and inspiration! Good Luck in London!
  • Hello Gina and Welcome!
  • Hello and Welcome!
  • I normally measure around the chest, waist, and hips. Once in a while (but not as regular) I will measure around my thighs and upper arm.
  • I was only 23 when I had mine removed. I found out, after the fact of course, that yes, your gallbladder aids in breaking down you fat as well as acting as a filter for your kidneys.
  • I feel for ya! I also have suffered headaches a lot. Sinus, Stress, Migraine, you name it. Sometimes Aleve works, but most of the time, the only thing that works for me is a cold rag and a dark room. Sorry I am not more help, but I will be watching for the suggestions also!
  • A friend on here recommended belly dancing to me. I have always thought it was neat and tried it.......fun, but one heck of a workout, let me tell ya!
  • 1. HEALTH! 2. Look better next to my hubby 3. Be able to enjoy shopping again instead of dreading it!
  • Hello and Welcome! :flowerforyou: In my opinion, Dancing is one of the best exercises you can do!
  • Hello Jana and Welcome! It is great that you have that determined attitude! That alone is half the battle. Just remember that if you ever need support, you will always have a lot of it here! I am fairly new myself, but this site is great!
  • Hello and Welcome! I had my gallbladder removed in my 20's. If you can avoid having it removed, do everything you can. Once my gallbladder was removed, I actually started gaining weight and had multiple other problems (heartburn, ulcers, etc) all because of the gallbladder!
  • I used to be real bad about using a lot of sugar in my coffee. I could only drink a cup or 2 before becoming nervous and jittery from all the sugar. I could not stomach the other sweeteners. Not necessarily because of the taste, but the aftertaste. Splenda does not have a nasty aftertaste like Equal or Sweet & Low. I have…
  • I gained a lot after my gallbladder was removed! I had 2 children and got back to my normal size. I then had my gallbladder removed, and gained almost 30 pounds within months. Our Gallbladders regulate a lot of things and do more than we think. (Of course they don't tell you that kind of stuff until after the surgery)
  • Mary Kay has a great night/day set called Cellu-Shape. There is a lotion for day and a gel for night. It smooths cellulite, firms and tones skin and also makes your skin feel soooo soft it is almost like silk. I have tried a lot of creams that claim these things, but this set is great. It is like $55 for the set, but well…
  • Hello and Welcome Ed!
  • Hello and Welcome! I am originally from Indiana too! (been in FLA for around 6 years now)
  • I lived in the midwest most of my life and have now been in Florida for about 6 years. In my experiences, the whether really hasn't made that big of a difference. The only thing that has helped about having the hot, humid weather, is that you do drink more water than what you would in the cooler weather.
  • Congratulations and Welcome!
  • Do you know of any good Belly Dancing vidoes that are good for learning and working out?
  • I just joined today, but I will start it off right. I am 175 currently and will shoot for 160 by Valentines Day I may need some friends on this one! Joyce
  • Pizza and cheese......lots of cheese
  • I have just found this site and it looks like it will be very helpful. I am 34 years old so I am dealing with the slowing metabolism. I was always pretty skinny when I was younger, but the older I get, the bigger I get. I figure I am not getting any younger. My mother has gained weight consistently as she has got older,…
