  • I joined a low carb group, but as previously mentioned, its mostly Keto people. I do low carb but not THAT low. I only belong to 2 groups...that one and one for diabetics. I get more feedback from these forums than I do the groups. Do some searches and you may find the same.

  • You are doing awesome, lady! I can only do 10 minutes of the walking video, but I took a short break, told Alexa to play some rock and I did some of the walking techniques on my own for another 10 minutes, albeit at a slightly slower pace. But I find I enjoy it more listening to music I like. Keep up the great work!
  • When I first joined, back in 2012, it was right after I tried on a bathing suit from the last year and I couldnt get it over my thighs. Which was bad enough, except that that suit I had bought the year before that because my old one was too small. I sat on the edge of my bed and cried. That was it for me.

  • I use Atkins Shakes.....not as a plan, just as a quick breakfast on occasion. I don't follow Atkins as a diet...I use the shakes and sometimes their bars for a snack. But 99% of the time, I use regular food. You have to use real food in the long run.

  • I use Walden Farms Pancake Syrup. There is NOTHING in it...you can check the label. I know its probably not a great thing but I LOVE french toast and I can splurge and have it for breakfast on occasion and only count the carbs in the bread. Its the only Walden Farms product I can use. Their salad dressings taste terrible…

  • I have to admit that US chocolate has changed over the decades. Cadbury Caramel used to be my favorite until Hersheys started making it....BLECH! Now I go to a local shop that sells authentic imported candy and they have the British Cadbury bars. There is NO comparison. But they are also a LOT more expensive, of course.

  • Yes....I was set to 1200 but took off 100 so I am set at 1100. I am not advocating doing that...most people believe it's not good for you and you will get told you're not eating enough.
