Girl, I am the same way. The only thing I can really tell ya is, Ibuprofen and a heating pad. If the pain is to the point of you not being able to function, see a doctor. I had to a few year back, and I checked out ok, but they gave me prescription meds to help with the pain as needed.

Yay, my name stuck! Haha. I'm excited to get out on the bike tomorrow! It's too hot and windy out today. Overslept... But yay to there being a biking challenge!

My suggestion is Spitfire Bikers. Hahaha. For this reason, mainly: Regarded as No. 1 in Top 10 Fighters, Supermarine Spitfire became the stuff of legend with its involvement in the Battle of Britain. Another related name from same battle is Hawker Hurricane but Spitfire still stands apart. The name itself carries a lot of…

I have no idea how to get into it either! I have been telling people I am training myself for a marathon of some sort. I live in an area where there aren't many at all, but I'm determind to figure something out. Even if I have to start one myself.

You know I'm in! I think your bike will be just fine unless you plan on competing in marathons! I just have a cruiser and a mountain bike to choose from, no frills here, and I ride 60+ miles a week! Here's to a biking challenge-- What's the plan?

Sounds like you are off to a great start. :)

Welcome, Yolanda! We have some of the same interests-- I am about to take my first prerequisite class to qualify me for nursing school. :) Welcome to mfp. You're gonna love it.

I want to get down to around 160-165. I haven't seen a number that small in at least 10 years. I'm at 185 and STUCK right now, thanks to the ole monthly gift, so at least another 20 pounds. I've already lost 20 since New Year's. :)

Can I join y'all? :)

Welcome! :flowerforyou:

You just gotta make the decision that you're gonna stick with it! Look up new and healthy recipes. Try a new exercise-- maybe buy a new set of hand weights or something equally inexpensive that'll get you going again! If you lost a good deal of weight before your little vacation, look back at pictures of you from before…

OH MY GOSH! I am in the same boat as you! Today, well, it's 3:50 am, so I guess technically yesterday, I did SO bad. It was my mom's birthday so we went out to eat for lunch, and I got a polo grill sandwich-- Not too bad, grilled chicken, tomato, provolone cheese, lettuce and bacon on a kaiser roll (not too good either, I…

Exercise DVD's are great, too, because if your body is used to running, it mixes it up a bit and uses different muscle groups, which is great! I'm sorry about your fella, though. I would try & have a talk with him and stress how important your you-time to exercise is.

Ooh ooh ooh! I wanna do it, haha. My measurements are: Weight: 186 Waist: 39 inches Hips:40 inches I don't have my arm or thigh measurements right now, but will get them when I can get home next. :)

I always get the sugar-free Jello brand pudding snacks. The one with a layer of vanilla in the middle of the chocolate? Divine, and only 60 calories! :)

I confess that I am using my period (sorry if that's tmi, haha) as an excuse to pig out on ginger snaps for dinner. I confess that I didn't exercise today, but plan on kicking my own butt to make up for these cookies!

Wow, 100 pounds?! That must have taken a lot of work. You're in the right place if you want a fresh start. I've been here almost a month, and just wish I'd discovered it sooner! Welcome!

My reward when I get to my goal weight will be a tattoo of an anchor & rope on my side. It has a lot of symbolic meaning in many aspects of my life, so I know exactly what you mean about the tree!My vote is for the tattoo!

Wow. I have no words, that is amazing. Talk about inspiring!

I dunno how you did that... But thanks! Lol.
