Oh my gosh, you have to make a hobo dinner! Haha, my daddy always made them for us. Just take layered aluminum foil, and put ground beef, carrots, and potatoes in it, and make sure it's wrapped really well. You bury it under the coals of the fire for a while and let it cook. Sooo good when you're roughing it. :bigsmile:

You might want to invest in a Heart Rate Monitor for something like that, it'll give you the best idea of how many calories you've burned.

On my bike I have a little Schwinn brand speedometer/odometer kinda deal. It was 10 dollars. I've had it for a month,and haven't killed it yet. If you knew me, you'd know how huge that was. I have a forcefield that kills all electronic devices within a 100-foot radius. :bigsmile:

Juuuuust finished 21 miles. I wanted to go for 30 but I started getting this awful muscle spasm/heat sensation in my right shoulder around mile 11, and I couldn't take it anymore. It's just as well, time to hit the beach!:bigsmile:

I up'ed my amount of exercise! I have mine set to 2 pounds per week, and my count is about 1250 a day. I found if I bike for an hour and go for a walk and throw in some strength training, it gives me plenty of wiggle room.

Funny you should suggest that-- I just bought an issue of the magazine tonight, and they had a little workout you could tear out in the middle, and I've been doing that. Didn't think about going to the website! :bigsmile:

I need to invest in a good pair of bike shorts. Problem is I live in Small Town, USA and there's only one store around here with sports-related stuff, and last I checked they didn't carry them. :cry:

That's good! I manage about 10-11 miles per hour, generally. Just imagine what you'll be up to with more practice! :bigsmile:
