Not sure we have an Aldi's in Portland Oregon but we have some grocery outlet stores. I imagine they are similar. One of my main staples is egg whites scrambled in sautéed spinach & squash/zucchini in olive oil. It takes about 5 minutes and very inexpensive and yummy.

Also, If you have hypothyroid and on thyroid meds, you might want to avoid the soy. I understand it hinders the thyroid medicine from work g properly? I'm no Dr. Just a passion for nutrition. If you consider Paleo, you might have to lose the dairy and oats which were two of my problem foods.

I'm not sure what is in that Mrs Dash but I would stick to natural foods. You might have some food intolerants that could be causing inflammation. Try going Paleo..... It's a cure all. For me it was anyway. I was alergic to everything and couldn't lose at all. Once I went Paleo/I F, I've lost 21 lbs.

I'm doing a myfitpal/Paleo/Intermittent Fasting hybrid. Having great success. I'm hardly ever hungry outside my 8 hr eating window and feel great.

I take a natural supplement called iron extra. You can find it at our local health food store.

Be careful with the Skinny cow. It has tons of high fructose syrup which can make ou pretty I'll. It does me anyway.

Maybe I can give you my opinion? The reason I eat some of my calories back is usually because I have run up an appetite exercising. I try not to eat them all. Sometimes its just nice to eat extra and splurge. Other times, I won't be hungry so, I won't eat any of my earned calories. Ironically, those aren't always my days…

So if something comes up in our schedule, we can shorten or extend the fast or eating window? I always worry when I eat my allotted calories too early or late.

Check the calories and carbs and decide if it is worth the trade for a good meal. I can't have grains on Paleo so, they are a no no for me.

I have my organic kale, chard, and spinach cleaned and ready to grab in a freezer bag in the fridge. I started two yesterday. I am eating from 10-6 and 16 hrs fast. I'm curious to see if it works but after blowing my carb limit yesterday, I still was down a lb. :)

I buy the Atlantic Salmon frozen a Costco. They are individually wrapped. Easy to defrost and ready in minutes. Delicious. I like to use flax seed meal as a batter. When seared in hot olive oil it fries up nice and crispy. The protein is very high, carbs low and, the high at us all good fat.
