right, here we go. not sure about my measurements, but ive lost scale weight (1kg) in the past week... mainly because of cutting my intake though. *one armed db snatch 5kg - 10kg *singleg rom deadlift 5kg - 20kg *bb bent over row 30kg - 35kg (not sure about form) *db overhead squat 2.5kg/5kg - no change *db (flat) bench…

dont think they would do much harm if you done them on off days/cardio days, but not sure about lifting days. if you done them beforehand your scheduled program it could affect your performance, if you done it after... well, im personally hardly able to squat down to the toilet after the bwm, so whatever you feel like…

thought for today: re-think finishing the workout when you feel a headache creeping on. the bwm is even worse with a banging migraine, seriously thought ill throw up doing them insane jumpings. today was kind of an off-day for me lifting wise but pushed it through. last stage3 workout on wednesday then leveling up again :)

i just feel like im capable to do more weight wise, but because of the stupid balance exercises im unable to up them and it bugs me. a lot. agree with greer though, switch up a few exercises to make your life easier in each gym. there is an easy pattern in the workouts, so as long as youre able to change up the ones that…

so i just came across this gif and wondered - when yous do the bwm, do you guys do the jumping lunges like this? i mean, swapping the legs with each jump? (because i didnt, ive done one leg then another, and now feeling a little silly.) also, ive done b1 today, and fairly enjoyed the partial squats (i need to add weights,…

ive done my first workout earlier on today. absolutely loved it! im working out at home so barbell row wasnt anything new and had to do some substitution - no incline bench (flat bench press), reverse wood chop alternative, plank is going alright - too shaky on bench+swiss ball, rather extending the time - 110secs - PAIN!…

athena: deep heat cream or muscle rub! just popped in to say ive got 2 more workouts so ill be done with this stage by the weekend. goes bare quick comparing to stage1. still loving it, although these split squats are evil! so as the lunges. my balance is still pathetic, even with that slight improvement im having on them.
-
im with you on that one! :)

eyecandy! bumping for more drooling. give me a few months and hopefully i can join the club too, im 'only' lifting for over a month yet mkay.
-
2a polished. getting better with the front squat although im still doing it light-ish. done the wood chop thing on a swiss ball - still couldnt get much out of it unfortunately. done a set of reverse crunches and leg raises after. AND! ive done my first ever push ups from the floor - 3 full! couldnt come back from the 4th…

could have written these words myself! i meant to start stage2 this afternoon (i work out at home, when the little one has her nap) but i got super discouraged when the 22kg barbell almost broke my wrists! (i back-squat 42kg) so it put me off the whole thing. then the time hit 10pm at my end of the world and feeling…

thats what ive done as well. got drenched within no time! :)

polished it. gained 1kg and my thighs are a bit bigger. boyfriend says quads are so hard, you can easily use them instead of the ironing board. lost a bit from my stomach. compared photos and my bum has lifted a little. according to the boy it has a good grip on it now :) squat - 42.5kg push up - 30degree (i truly suck at…

having such an off day! my lifting was terrible, my little girl wouldnt stop her tantrum fits for longer than 20minutes and im on the edge! harr harr! on a happier note, im done with stage1 whoop! qotd: there are people in my life whom never seen (and probably never either will) my real hair colour. been dying it…

im about to finish stage1 (so im in for over a month now) and to be perfectly honest i can only see changes on my arms/shoulders and my bum and thighs are getting bigger and rounder. i kind of hoped they would get smaller straight away but i assume all that fat takes time to burn from above the toned muscles :)

sam: hope your hubby is alright? :O i do understand the point of having glasses, they do help obviously, but within time the eyes do adjust and lost from their strength so slowly they become weaker and you need a stronger prescription and the vicious cycle begins. thats my experience anyway, eyes havent worsened as quick…

breeze: im the same, actually was just asking the ladies about their non-lifting day hunger experience a little earlier in this topic. and as it happens, i straight off thought what your husband suspects, so yeah... lets just go by that :)

just wanted to pop in, to say i had really good day intake wise. very satisfied tummy, 3 meals, 2 snacks, even a cheeky wine, ok macros and all within my calorie limit. im going to bed being a happy bunny :) *spreads positivity*

amazon! it took them 3weeks to deliver my book from the states but it did arrive safe and sound!

you can get a beefy bar? its slightly shorter (80" instead of 7ft) and you can use your already existing 1" standard plates no need for a 2" oly set. just make sure you dont choose a spinlock one, it makes plate changing such a hussle!

emgel i feel ya! im in the negative medal cathegory too. using my bfs birthday as an excuse, but i better do a reality check on myself me thinks. beeps: my father in law had his eyes done almost 3 years ago and was back at work a week after. he works nights and both the journey plus his job involves driving and he had no…

just booked my laser eye surgery consultation for the 20th of may. super nervous already! part of me thinks theyll turn me down due to not being suitable (phew!) but the other part of me just want to be able to see finally for both eyes, ditch these damn glasses and getting over with it already. nerve racking!!!

i started my weight loss journey almost a year ago. have been over (binge) eating and sitting on my *kitten* previously for years. since last may i started to walk everywhere (plus watch what i eat of course), usually to the park with my daughter just to get out of the house. that built my stamina to start to jog in…

new balance for me too. if you are lucky enough to have small feet, you can get them super cheap as well, in the kids section like i did :D

this. if youre really anal about it (like me) there is an option under 'cardio' for 'weight lifting/weight training/strength training' but if youre going by the book, you have to adjust the calories manually. (i dont do that personally, cause i rather eat in a tiny deficit to make sure i lose some fat sooner or later.)
