  • I either have it with just water or mixed with spinach in a blender. It fills me more than any breakfast and i'm not hungry at all until lunch :)
  • Wow this is so true, I can go months without something then once I have it, I non stop eat it!! So i'd much rather never have it, like the saying 'you don't no what ur missing' ...yes i'd rather not know!!
  • Hmm yes I understand the lowering bodyfat but i'm around 23% so not to high. I actually like the shape of my smaller waist and bigger hips, however I just want them to feel more tight/toned. If I go too low bodyfat I end up losing them all together and I like the curvy look. Ohh I'll check that out now, thanks :)
  • I think that's what messes me up, if I eat something that I don't think is a 'good' food then I feel really guilty/anxious and then binge a bit. Then think oh crap, I best go back strict. Horrible cycle. Can't pin-point when this started, I used to have such a good balanced diet.
  • Just to let you know, I lost 7pound in a week on this, I had 2 shakes and ate a healthy meal a day. Suprisingly I enjoyed having the shakes!
  • Thank you. Yes you're right going back will only lead to the same thing. For instance this week I went so extreme with my diet/exercise was like a zombie all week, barely spoke to anyone. Then the past 2 days I've ate a ton as I felt so restricted. Now I have the urge to go back extreme tomorrow. But I know that won't…
  • Yes, that's what I do. Like one week I'll eat really low carb just lean protein and veg then the next eat a ton of crap. It's just after i've ate the crap I go back to so little to make up for it but then it happens again :(
  • I'm on week 2 of a 'protein shake diet' I have been having 2 shakes a day and 1 meal of lean protein and veg a day. I personally had more energy and have lost weight. Don't think you would ever put weight on with protein shakes unless you are more calories. A protein shake is no better or worse than having another protein…
  • I personally don't see how it has enough calories in the diet to maintain a healthy weight. Of course for weight loss it's a different story. But for me (I only eat chicken and tend to eat more fish, eggs etc) don't see how I'd possably get enough calories, I tried this diet or 'lifestyle' and couldn't get more than 800 a…
  • I get how you feel, it's like you're getting more depressed as you've put on weight. I went quite extreme and cut of sugar and most carbs (not veggies etc) for a few days and then slowly added back in the good ones. It seemed to give me a lift and got me back motivated
  • I'm in :) I want to lose a much as I can in 4 weeks before my holiday.
  • I havent looked into that actually. What foods are allowed in the first part of the SB diet? Also, do you think it will help me sugar cravings?
  • Yes, I get what you're saying. But it would only be for 5 days, then I would add in healthy meals and eventually use them just for after training. I think it would help me more mentally, if anything, for now. I guess it could be my experiement. I wouldn't do it for a long period of time.
  • I actually find the nice, I usually mix one with spinach of a morning so thought I'd try it. I will let you know how it goes LOL
