  • what's your height? When I looked up my BMI when I weighed 145 it said I was in the normal weight range (albeit on the higher side). There are different BMI scales too, like the one they use in Japan is 23 BMI as the highest for normal weight while the one we use in the US is 25.

  • When people are huddled in the area talking around the machine you want to use at the gym. For one I don't wan't to have to ask them to move, but then even if you do move past them they don't go very far and keep peeking back over at you >:( It's so freaking annoying!! lol it's why I run outside to stay away from people…

  • Thanks!! That's some pretty good advice :) I don't diet too often since I've never been able to shake more than 10 pounds, but now that I've set my goal for over 20 I've got my work cut out for me. Thankfully I don't gain weight very well, so I've been stuck at around 145 since junior year of high school :/

  • Yes I believe this too :) I have the whole 1200 cal diet, and my weight constantly jumps around but lowers gradually, then jumps up again another couple pounds for no reason. Even if you gain about 3 pounds they will (or should) fall off pretty fast in the next couple of days so long as you keep pushing yourself.

  • My best 5k is 24:06 (hills and all) it was pretty good weather as I recall and there were only a couple hills. Currently I run a 5k on a flat trail about 25-26 mins but I'm getting there :)
  • Yes even for just 9 pounds I can see it so it means the progress is there :) You can't let yourself get dissuaded when you still have yet so far to go, usually you don't really see much when the first 10 pounds fall off but you will start to see it further down the road. Keep up the good work!!!
  • I honestly do wear workout clothes most days all day (even at work). I don't have to dress for my job since I work at a daycare so after I reach my goal maybe I'll start wearing different clothing more often.
