  • I used to myself that I only need to go for 20 minutes, to make it "no big deal. " once there I always stayed for at least an hour. I do find that I can lose weight with diet alone, but diet and exercise together really drive results quicker which can keep me motivated. You are right, 6 weeks and it will become a habit.
  • I notice that when I get right back on plan following 1-2 "setback" days, the weight seems to melt off. It's like I gave my body permission to let the weight go. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon, hang in there for the entire race and you will get the results you want!

  • The extra weight was probably due to the fluids given during surgery or your body healing, etc. Stay on track and it will come right off in a few days max.

  • Yes. Always.
  • Could be less sleep or water retention. Did you eat an extra 17,500 calories this week? I assume the answer is no. I personally have strange 3-5 pound gains every few weeks, but it always goes away within a few days. Hang in there. It's what I call a "false high." if you stay on plan I bet it will disappear within a few…
  • Always during emotional events. 5 pregnancies, divorce, job change, financial trauma. Food has always been my drug of choice. Gained and lost 30-50 pounds 6 times since age 18. (never ever reached "goal" ...always a bit of self-sabotage i think...)Here we go again.....Spent too much time over-analyzing why I was…
