  • Thanks all I use a HRM when doing Insanity. My TDEE has been calculated using an online calculator based upon an active lifestyle (insanity 6 days a week). There is no way I consume 2500 calories per day, I consume less. I find it difficult understanding what foods are good to eat. Is potato, pasta, rice, bread?? Things I…

  • I don't eat back at the moment. I hate the idea of logging food too. I don't understand why I'm not losing weight. Lets say I overestimate my calories and I eat 2500 each day, that's well below my TDEE of 3,200 calories per day (based upon working out 6 days a week). • Snuggle Thanks for the response, what you say makes sense, however the calculations suggest I have a BMR of 1900 which to me is high. whilst I'm overweight I struggle to eat more than 2000 calories per day so to have a base of 1900 works against me somewhat. If I had a BMR like you I would be happy. The concept of eating…

  • I measured my waist - no change yet
  • another question I should ask then is 1500 calories enough for me? Insanity Nutrition guide estimates that in a sedentary state my body needs 2344 calories per day. If I exercise in line with Insanity i.e. 6 days a week my calorie intake should be 2869 calories per day (this takes into account a deficit of 500 calories per…
