I do Turbo Fire and enjoy it, since I find it much more enjoyable to follow some sort of routine than just run on a treadmill. Works up a great sweat too.

I got one about a month ago and really like it. You can actually sync it up with MFP to upload your exercise calories, and it tracks your sleep patterns, which is nice. Had a body bugg prior to getting a Fit Bit, but walking around with that on your arm, especially during the summer months, looked rather silly. This little…

I'm in. That is just about my goal.

They (whoever they are) say it takes 21 days to form a new habit. I got up religiously in the mornings for about four weeks - a bit over the 21 days but fell back into my old ways rather quickly. I felt great when I was working out in the mornings and can't quite figure out why I can't motivate myself to continue doing it.…

We can all use motivating people to share ideas, successes and frustrations with. Good luck on your journey - knowing you can do it is half the battle.

What an astounding transformation. You should be so proud of yourself.

I'll try it when I'm home from work as well (would look a little funny in the office).

Thanks for posting - it's great to see progress (not to mention motivating).

Would suggest taking up a new hobby. Golf perhaps.... I met my best friend on a driving range many years ago and we still talk almost every day. And swinging a club is good exercise.

I'm in - and need all the motivation I can get (don't we all?). CW - 145 GW - 115 (or a little less if toned) Goodbye 30 pounds of FAT and the 'muffin top.' I hate the muffin top.

I know exactly where you're coming from. In my photo, my beloved pooch is hiding my not-so-beloved pooch. :)

You had me at 'bacon.'

Love the saying on your phone. It's true... a year from now you WILL wish you started today. That is perfect.

Great job and thanks for sharing your before and after photos. Seeing the results is truly motivating.

I'm new too and always looking for people to help motivate. Our goals are all pretty much the same (and attainable). Anyone can feel free to add me as well. I plan on being on here until those 30 unwanted pounds are long gone....

Am on the cusp of 5'5" - currently @ 145 ish and want to be at 115 ish. But a healthy, toned 115. It sure was easier putting it on than it is taking it off.

Just started doing the Turbo Fire DVD's and really, really like them. Find them to be a great workout - and surprisingly fun.

Kettlebell swings. Those are great. If you do a search in youtube you can find the proper technique. Good luck!!

Thanks for the input. I do have an air popper that I will bust out and start using - fabulous idea and I forgot we even had one.

We all need a little help in the motivation department at times. I'm in the same boat as far as starting and stopping my health regime goes.

Chasing those kids around should be considered a form of exercise, no? Good luck on those 20 pounds. It's definitely do-able.
