my son has been on ritalin for several years. he only takes one dose in the morning and one dose at lunch. sometimes he does the extended release, which lasts until school gets out. i don't medicate him at home. the only issue is he doesn't sleep much, which is okay.

the crappy feeling you get before ketosis sucks, but is so worth it. once you get into ketosis you will LOVE the feeling! the more you go in/out of ketosis, the easier the carb flu will be on you. i don't even notice anymore. i <3 ketosis. it really is a godsend.

calories aren't as important. because you're in ketosis. it's okay to eat more if you're hungry.. but if you're not hungry don't force yourself!

hi there! grats on your 4 pounds. just watch out for all the processed stuff you eat.. it's 'low carb', but not healthy! and more vegetables! yes, they have carbs, but you do subtract the fibre, so they're really not scary. people don't get fat from eating broccoli and zucchini :P track your sodium too.. with all the bacon…

less carbs (i mean crappy ones like flour, sugar, and rice) eat more meat/seafood/poultry, vegetables, low sugar fruits, some nuts, and some dairy. and remember, fat is healthy.

too many carbs does it for me. glad i have a big bed so i can move over to the dry part ;p it also makes my stomach muscles twitch- it's really weird.

rice is so easy to overeat. check serving sizes, watch your carbs, and you'll be fine

also.. in case you didn't know.. cholesterol in food (dietary) has no direct effect on the cholesterol levels found in your blood.

a high triglyceride count is triggered by too many carbs. eat more protein, healthy fats and vegetables. i do low carb. let me know if you need anything. good luck!

taking a peak at your diary... too much sugar substitute and josephs products/low carb convenience foods. you did eat 2 chocolate biscuits, that would do it easily. you eat a lot of convenience foods, and those are always questionable.

i teach my children manners, that's all.

i go poop in the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping. if i have to in the day, i say i'm taking a shower so i know no one will bother me. i taught my kids to leave the room if they have to fart, and i would expect anyone else to do the same.

when i eat carbs, it all goes to my belly. try and get more protein and vegetables.100 grams of carbs a day might be good to start with.

victoria brand is super low in carbs so i use that. i think someone said walmart brand is low as well. sometimes there are low sugar/salt/heart healthy ones which don't have any added sugars. it's summer! (well, if you're in the northern hemisphere) make homemade sauce :D that way you can beef it up with less carby veg…
