I'm starting again after about a year. I could use some new friends and support.

I'm not sure why my diary is closed. I'll have to check into that. I set it up for a target of 1 pound a week. This week I only managed .4. I missed my target a couple of days and haven't had a chance to exercise. it makes a big difference.

I pay cash for everything except bills. I still write checks for the mortgage and utilities. I used to use credit but got in way too deep when I was younger. Once I payed off the debt, I started using cash and have not been in debt since with the exception of the mortgage. You can never get in trouble if you pay yourself…

It's absolutely possible. I'm 49 and recovering from some major health issues. I've managed to loose 20 pounds so far and I'm exercising for the first time in a decade. I feel better than I have in a long time. You have found the right place with MFP. It will help you keep track of your progress and offers a great support…

Thanks for all the great advice. I was just worried about losing my momentum. I went to a Wedding today and there was absolutely nothing I could eat. I just had a glass of water. I feel better about it after reading these posts.
