  • It just started this morning. I went to get out of bed and just fell to the floor. It's not painful or anything but for some reason I couldn't bear my weight at that time. I haven't had any other problems all day... just the popping noises.
  • Ugh! I have been SO sick these past 2 weeks that I took a break on the shred. I will be starting over tomorrow so wish me luck!
  • Welcome to all the newcomers! Today is Level 1, Day 4 for me... wish me luck! I feel great, though. No soreness or stiffness this morning! And my knees have quit cracking
  • Try green tea. I've heard it's good for the metabolism too.
  • I don't consume any aspartame at all. It's crazy everything you can find artificial sweeteners in. Flavored waters, chewing gums, jellies. I always read the labels to make sure there isn't anything icky in there.
  • Maybe it was the hat making them fat after all
  • Ugh I always gain around 5lbs when AF shows up. The only suggestions I have is to watch your salt intake (hard for me, I crave salty things around TOM) and drink lots of water to help keep the bloat down. It will go away in a week or so! It's not permanent... try not to weigh yourself until AF is gone if you get easily…
  • Good luck to the newcomers! Just finished day 3 and I feel GREAT. I was sore going into it but I don't feel it as much now. I've also noticed an increase in my endurance already! I can keep up with the cardio moves and I am even doing some of the more advanced ones. I can't wait to see how I'll feel on day 10!
  • Please, people, I suggest you do your OWN research on the subject. Don't not eat soy because some guy on the internet said it was bad. Don't eat it just because Bob said it was good. Do your OWN research. Make sure you're reading sources that are credible. (ie: you wouldn't trust a study claiming that cows milk is the best…
  • I quit drinking cow's milk, started drinking soy, and lost a lot of weight. What works for you may not work for someone else.
  • Level 1, Day 3! I'm sore.... but I'm gonna try and make it through it!
  • So how is everyone doing? I finished day 2 a few hours ago and I am REALLY feeling it! haha
  • Yep! I find it to be pretty accurate. They even take into consideration how heavy your clothes are :)
  • Do you have a Wii Fit? When it weighs you it tells you "you have lost 0.2lbs since your last visit" and then keeps track of it on a nifty little chart. It's pretty neat to see my weight fluctuation from day to day
  • Congrats!:glasses:
  • Okay guys today is Level 1, day 2. Good luck!
  • Way to go! :drinker:
  • For everyone who wanted it... check out this website: http://www.recipezaar.com/recipes/crockpot There's over 8,000 crockpot recipes on there :):flowerforyou:
  • I'm glad to have everyone in this with me! It keeps me accountable lol. Just finished level 1 and I am soaked! To answer some questions: The reason I quit was lack of motivation. I just wasn't feeling it at the time. Now I am ready to do this. I WILL do this! I think level 3 is on demand for free, but I got the DVD at…
  • The reason MFP wants you to eat back your exercise calories is because when you join the put you on a healthy calorie deficit for weight loss by cutting your calorie intake from what your body needs to maintain your current weight. When you exercise, you're increasing the deficit. If the deficit becomes too large it could…
  • Haha. Good job on training him with vocal cues!
  • hehe must be nice! I had on OTT Thoroughbred that I retrained for hunter/jumper... lets just say I felt it when I got off ;) Apparently yellow jump posts eat horses and you must avoid them at all costs and flower boxes have teeth and need to be given an extra few feet than necessary to get over. haha.
  • I am a horsey person! I don't own any at the moment but I have before. Riding is GREAT exercise :)
  • Ah yes, another pet peeve. People who don't have children trying to tell you about parenting!
  • Eww. I hate that too. Sickos. I also hate it when people strut around the locker room naked. I don't want to see that! Get a robe or something lol
  • It will actually aid your weight loss. MFP puts you on a calorie deficit when you join. When you exercise you're creating more of a deficit. If you don't eat back at least most of your exercise calories your body could go into starvation mode, which could slow your weight loss or stop it all together.
  • Thanks!
  • I try and squeeze a short workout in during naps. I do 30 day shred or BL Cardio Max which are about 20 minutes long. During his longer afternoon nap I will try something like Jillian's Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism. I have a 2 year old who gets pretty angry when I turn off his Dora or Spongebob to exercise so I've included…

  • Like the previous poster said, cardio is key. Make sure that you're working your muscles too that way you can tone as well. Baby fat is pretty stubborn fat (in my experience anyways) It took me about a year to lose all the weight from my first. I have a 5 month old baby I'm trying to lose the extra weight from now.
