It's sad indeed that he wasn't discovered for quite a while and so young. Sorry to hear that.

What about good old homemade vegetable soup! (Can you tell it's winter here)

If you buy the Nike + and don't have the Nike shoes, there are a few options for securing the sensor to your shoe. I found the best one was from www.lacelid.com. Its a rubber holder that you tie into your laces. I am still using this after two years and about 3 pairs of shoes. If you lived in Australia I would post you one…

When I started doing weights - after the first session, my weight jumped up by 2kg overnight (about 4.5 lbs). I put this down to pulling water on board for muscle recovery and boy was I sore.

I have never done a half marathon. You are an inspiration. Why not book yourself a nice massage as a reward for doing it. Good luck with it.

You wont die if you don't eat them every now and then..

When I visited there - long time ago - it was the only city I've even been in which was EXACTLY like the movies portray it. I loved it. Especially sunday brunch!

You look fantastic. I bet you feel fantastic too. AND you deserve it. Well done and thanks for sharing the photos.

Oh my goodness... that sounds ideal. Let me know how it works out, and I will make the trip to the OTHER SIDE to Newmarket. I am south of the river!

I think the HRM is the only reliable way to tell. Everything else is just a guideline I suspect.

And don't get excited... it doesn't seem to burn as much as you would expect ;-)

I know what you mean... they should still lose weight though according to the calories in/calories out protocal. But I doubt they will be able to keep it off.

Hi from overcast Brisbane. So many Aussies - yay!
-
Not sure I agree. If I listened to my body I would be the size of a house! If you are feeling hungry, I would look at your food choices and make sure you are getting the best bang for buck for your calories. Protein seems to be quite filling and make sure your carb choices are high fibre too.

I would say... do what you're doing while you are getting results. If you start to plateau, then maybe re-examine a few things... Sounds to me like you are doing a fine job with the tools you have. Well done.

You are doing fantastically!!! Don't worry about your 25-30 minutes exercise - you are doing it to a level that suits you and you are still losing! As you get fitter/slimmer, you might feel like want to increase it. There's no point in doing some big torture workout if it means that its too awful to stick with. I think you…
-
I think that because you are so close to goal there is probably some weird mind games going on with yourself.
-
Thats going to be a major challenge. Probably do-able. You are going to have to eat well and do a ton of exercise even if its just walking. Best not to drop the calories too low, as you'll need energy to keep up the exercise exercise exercise. Good luck!!!
-
I just started. 15 minutes is a long time!! I am doing Run 4mins Walk 2mins X 4 and it kills me!
-
Great tip. Thanks
-
You are SOOOO right!

You have to focus on that banquet! If you don't get your head in the game - then there will be no triumphant arrival!! How will you feel then? When you knew you could have done it, but just didn't bother. You can do it. Get back on it and push hard - it will be worth it.

Chocolate, Roquefort cheese with digestive biscuits and red wine, Milkshakes, satay sticks with loads of peanut sauce, blue cheese gnocchi, potato scallops from the fish and chip shop, basically anything fatty it seems :-)

Yep... I'll give it a go.
