Fantastic. Thank you for sharing your story and learnings.

I'm just jealous that you have so many calories to spend. Go for it, I say
-
Oops! C'mon you can do better than that....

Its a really sad way to end a career. I really really wanted him to be innocent, but sadly it doesn't seem to be the case.

I've had a fitbit for a year. Its pretty good at picking up all sorts of activity. For example, doing the ironing and folding the laundry will register as much more than lying on the sofa. And its relatively cheap. The fitbit tracks, steps, calories burned, floors climbed (on the dearer model). Its good. I like it.

Some people use one of those lingerie bags to wash it in the machine. I tend to just give it a good wash in the shower when I jump in there. Haven't been brave enough to put it through the machine.

Hi, I also signed up for my first round. Working my way through the pre-season tasks. I also bought a HRM and have been testing out a variety of activities to see how much they burn. Feeling a bit scared and also excited. So many people have had amazing results doing the program. What have you guys been doing in the lead…

Hi, Yes. I'm doing it. This will be my first round.
-
Hilarious! I totally agree
-
I'm just jealous! I want to lose 10 inches as well!
-
Who knows how many calories it is... the only way you know for sure is with a HRM. I normally just put it down in MFP as 45 minutes of aerobic dancing... about 300 I think..

There are a couple of good programs in books that I would recommend. Most of these books you can get on Amazon pretty cheaply. 1. New Rules of Lifting - Lou Schuler 2. New Rules of Lifting for Women - Lou Schuler 3. Female Body Breakthrough - Rachel Cosgrove These will give you over a years programming. I have done all…

Ok I have added my details too. Hope I am not too late! It's doing something weird with the date but I can't change it. What a great idea to start the new year!,

Definately Dance Central 1 & 2 on the XBOX. It tracks your whole body. On DC2, it even calculates your calories burned in fitness mode. Plus it has a number of fitness routines that you can do. Or you can just do the dancing. I totally am addicted to it.

About time someone said something...

I grew up in Mount Isa in north west Queensland. Spent the next 20 years living in Sydney, Melbourne, London but have been back to QLD sunny shores for 7 years now and live in Bulimba.

Wow. All those great sounding places. I'm getting very envious here in sunny Queensland, Australia. I've been to the US a couple of times, but didn't get out and about to see anything other than the cities that I have visite. Having said that New York and Las Vegas were extremely interesting places..Poughkeesie - er -…

I'm sure lots of people would love to look at your boobs.

Hi, I think about 100g dry pasta is probably somewhere from 300-400 calories. (in my experience)
-
Doesn't sound like a bad addiction to me. Going well!!
-
Would have been really annoying if you didn't get in... but apart from that.. WOW!!
-
Nice.
-
I use the Dancing Aerobic category. Not sure how this compares to the HRM.

What about Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2. That chin up scene!!!
-
Welcome! You have made the right choice!

Definately. Probably not so much on the weightloss side as apparently its a scientific equation calories in/calories out. But if you want to have more energy, feel less hungry, banish cravings (a bit) and know that you are properly nourishing your body, its best to try and maximise the amount of quality food, fruit,…

I sort of think of it as weightlifting, where you do bench press, squats, shoulder presses etc on the resistance machines, with the set reps and rest periods. With the circuit training, I see it as push ups, burpees, running, situps, step ups etc... more of a cardio work out.

I do!!! I get the Lite N Easy 1200 Calorie, then eat another 300 calories worth of the foods I am missing. Eg. Different fruits, yoghurt, wine (!).. sometimes just a bit of extra meat! I love it. I don't know who put the foods in the database but definately appreciate it also. :flowerforyou:

The important thing is YOU got there and YOU did it.

You are a young person and you have done a truly fantastic job of getting weight off. You deserve to look terrific. I think the good news is that if you maintain your slim weight for the next few years, the skin may shrink back to quite a large extent. Not such good news for us "oldies" though. Hang in there.... there…
