Congrats, well done. My knee pain was what got me serious about weight loss as well. I'm down 10 lbs so far and am trying to take it one day at a time. I still have a way to go yet but am determined to get there.

Count me in too. I'm doing most of my walking on the treadmill. Though I do plan on doing some walking outside (with the dog, lol) I find I get more of a workout on the treadmill and want to keep that up. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your tips. I finally got it fixed :)

I didn't have surgery but got orthopaedic shoes, which solved the problem. The shoes that I found worked for mem were New Balance. Good shoes with good support made a big difference, but it took a couple of months before I noticed the pain was gone.
