  • If you like to cook, spend part of your day off cooking a few special meals in bulk. Divide them and freeze them for easy, quick, healthy meals. You can freeze just about any vegetable with success too. Good luck:smile:

I do this in the toaster oven and it holds me over till lunch. EAT SLOW...that helps too. I always have a small bag of almonds in my purse to help ease that…
  • Make a Taco Salad Brown the Ground Turkey and make a big Taco Salad with fresh lettuce, tomatoes or salsa, and low fat Mexican cheese !
  • It is a sharp sharp pain right under my knee cap that is constant. Load bearing, steps, walking....just about everything. Rather a bummer....I think I inherited bad knees from my mom. My daughter is getting married in 2 months, and this is not what I wanted to have happen to slow down my enthusiasm for losing a few pounds.…

  • I just read your problem....I have sore knees too. I am going to have this checked out tomorrow at an Orthopedic Dr. I am listening to my body at the moment, and it is shouting that something is wrong. I would definitely not try and mask the pain with a brace, you might have torn or injured something. It is a real bummer…

  • I just grill the fish and squeeze a little lime juice on the fillets. I don't use foil, this works fine directly on the grill.

  • Wow...thanks everyone for all the good advice and thoughts. I LOVE THIS WEBSITE......the list of lean protein foods that some of you mentioned is what I have been eating, so I feel better about this all. I am being very very careful with my portions and I feel like I am making healthy choices. Some of the foods that I have eaten that have a lot of protein in them are:…
  • Definitely try the roasted or grilled asparagus with a tad of olive oil and a tiny salt. A great fat free yummy seasoning to add flavor to veggies is Trader Joe's 21 Salute. It is all natural herbs and seasonings. ( Hope you have a trader joes) I bake a Spaghetti squash in the oven. Cut in half, remove the seed, place face…

  • Wow....thanks so much for all the advice. This website is amazing. I am so glad I found it. I have been playing on it for about 2 hours now.... I will concentrate on favorite menus and foods. It seems like once I add them to my Food diary, it should be saved for future use. I am excited to have this tool to help me…
  • Thanks for the encouragement !
  • I stopped walking barefoot, but the thing that really helped me was investing in a pair of Crocks ! I have not had any problems since wearing these shoes. They aren't the most stylish, but it truly helped me.
