Here's what I'm considering. I'm debating stopping the diet until May 1st. I will try to eat my daily limit of calories for my weight which is currently about 1700. I will not use my treadmill at the same pace I've been doing, if at all. If I use it, it'll be at like 2 MPH, 30 minutes a day(15 minutes twice a day) with no…

Highly unlikely. I've been taking the cinnamon supplements for months with no problems.

Seriously, it's no longer an "apparent" holier than thou attitude. It's an obvious one and it's rapidly heading towards severe. I am not making excuses. I am answering as honestly as I can. I don't want an "it's gonna be okay" because if that's what I wanted, I wouldn't be dieting in the first place.

If your calorie number was that far off, seems likely your other numbers there are off too. Even still, as of a month ago, my cholesterol is very good as is my insulin levels. I'm well within healthy range on both of them and they've only gotten better since my weight loss started. I don't have the same goals as you do and…

I use Reebok high top basketball shoes when I walk. I wear size 15 wide shoes.

My numbers are not conjecture. They come straight from the nutritional information on the foods themselves and all servings were measured.

The second part I honestly can't answer because I just don't know. If it helps, I weighed 300 lbs by the time I was 14 years old and weighed at least 250 lbs by the time I was 10 years old. My lunch consisted of: 2 servings of 93% lean hamburger, stated to be 170 calories per serving on the packaging. 340 from that. 2…

I track what I eat everyday. I've not been off of it a single day since May 27. Honestly, I tend to overestimate my calories and to a certain extent, this is done purposely because I don't want to convince myself that I can afford to eat more than I actually can. Because exercising is so extremely painful for me, diet…

The only reason I still use it is to keep a rough track of what I eat so I'll know if I can afford to eat certain things that day such as a Reese's cup or a glass of skim milk. If I actually at the calories for a single week that MFP recommends me to eat, I'd gain well over 10 pounds in just that one week. I've had days…

The only place around here with a pool is the local YMCA and they offer a $25/month membership to just use the pool but as I said, I don't have 25 dollars a month to spare at this point.

I eat out about once a month and have pizza maybe once every 3 months. I was just using that as an example.
-
Hopefully someday I can get out of hell's outhouse and do just that.

I calculate as best I can. Sometimes I can get an exact count and sometimes I have to use a similar item and make an intelligent guess i.e. if I'm having pizza at a local restaurant, I'll use Pizza Hut calories for the same type of pizza and make a guess based on that number. Sometimes it's the best I can do. I'm a little…

I've done this and my body fat is around 33% today at 305 lbs. When I started at 450, it was 27% according to the calculator I used.

I eat bread very rarely and when I do eat it, it's whole grain bread. As I said earlier, I live in the southeastern US and health care here is a complete abomination. I imagine if I lived in any other region of the country, I would likely be on medication for it. There are reasons why the obesity level is so much higher in…

My metabolism is a thyroid issue and is genetic. No doctor will prescribe medication for me because they say "it's not severe enough." Basically, unless you have something along the lines of gigantism or acromegaly, they don't like to do anything for hypothyroidism. At least that's been my experience with 4 different…

I can't afford anything like that. I'm unemployed, in school, and my wife barely makes enough to pay our bills and feed us and our cats. The only reason I have a treadmill is because it was my grandma's and she gave it to us because her health has deteriorated to the point that she can't use it any more.

MFP recommends me eating 2080 calories a day. If I eat even as much as 1600 calories a day, even with exercise, I will gain weight.
-
I eat chicken at least 3 times a week. Much more fresh and canned(low sugar or sugar free) fruit than ever before. I also only eat 93% lean hamburger. I do splurge maybe once every 4 to 6 weeks however. My biggest change was portion control. My meals now consist of what I previously would've considered a light snack. Most…

If I did that, I'd get maybe 20 minutes of exercise maximum a day and my metabolism is so bad that if I dropped my exercise to that level, I'd never lose weight.
-
I've had that suggested before and it does make sense. Only thing is that I could understand that if it started immediately when I started my diet. However, when I first started, my knees didn't hurt. I was 3 months into my diet before my knees began to hurt and like I said, they hurt worse than ever now. I've also had it…
-
I didn't say directly that weight loss caused my knee problems. It just seems unusual that my knee problems developed after dieting and have only gotten worse as I've lost more and more weight. For the record, the troll comment is unnecessary and utterly pointless. Nonsense like that is why I don't like to come to this…

Health care in the southeast is terrible. Honestly he's no different than any other doctor I've come across here in this leper colony.
-
Truth is, I hurt far worse today than I ever did at my heaviest. My doctor has told me he's at a total loss to explain this. My knee problems only started after losing my first 50 pounds. Before that, even at well over 400 pounds, I never had any knee problems whatsoever. My doctor has told me he's never once seen someone…

The only exercise I can do is walking and that's a real struggle because of severe hip, back and knee pain. I walk 30 minutes twice a day on a perfectly flat treadmill and usually after 10 minutes I hurt so bad that I'm nearly in tears. Sometimes in the morning I hurt so bad that I nearly have to have my wife get me out of…
