You might want to try being as kind, considerate, accepting, loving and forgiving to yourself as you would be to a desperately ill best friend. This has helped me more than anything else to get out and stay out of depression. Then, you are here and that counts! Commit to tracking every calorie and that helps! Good luck and…

This is awesome. Thanks for sharing! Will you be posting pics?

Do you enter my weight? I don't see any posts where others are entering their weight. I weighed this week at 171.2, and have lost every week since I started the challenge. Yay!

Awesome! Thank you! Anyone else having a problem getting to recipes on the Hungry Girl site? I get thrown onto a recipe book sale page every time I try. Sigh. HUGS! xoxoxo

I am about half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. To the west is the Pacific ocean, to the east is Sequoia National Park, about 2 hours each way.

Thanks, aways wondered what pilates was like.

Question... I opened the spreadsheet but didn't see my name. Am I supposed to add myself or are you going to do it. I am Sandy G., starting weight 178, goal 10 pounds. Let me know if I need to do anything else. Thanks!

:flowerforyou: Skinny Taste has a whole section on pumpkin recipes. Yum! :drinker: "...Pumpkin season's back which prompted me to create a Pinterest board called Pumpkin Madness for all my pumpkin recipes. If you're pumpkin obsessed, you'll want to follow this board! I also have them all in the recipe index, which you can…

New recipe: Cold Shiratake noodle salad, Asian fat free dressing and whatever veggies on hand. Yum! I put cucumbers, carrots, onions, califlower, Asian cabbage (all finely shredded) and soybeans in the salad I made today. Yum! Yum! Yum!

I am in, too! Thanks for the challenge. ~3 Month Christmas Challenge~~ Start weight - 176.4 Goal weight - 166.0

I ran out of fresh veggies, so I took the bowl of Shiratake noodles with veggies I made and added 1/2 cub of garbonzo beans, some low sodium soy sauce and some Splenda. It tasted like high-calorie sweet teriyaki sauce. Yum! It was so terrific! So filling. I love these versatile noodles almost calorie free! What a treatL!

I used to put on my sneakers 3 times a day: Morning and afternoon coffee breaks, lunch break, total 1 hour. This worked. Wishing you the best!

Last night I made Hungry Girl's Fettuccine Alfredo. I used the 40 calorie Shiratake Noodles with broccoli and garlic. And i used soy mozzarella cheese (40 calories x 12). Well, after completing my food for the day under goal, I had a late night bowl of the Fettuccine. It was so good I have to count it as a red light food.…

Hola! I am Sandy. I am 64. I have COPD/emphysema. I got a power chair/wheel chair and that catapulted me into a new dimension of thinking. I got busy at the gym. Found I could do 30 minutes on the recumbent bike. I added 5 minutes every week and have been doing an hour daily for about a month. I added strength training 2-3…

Hola! :flowerforyou: MyGoals: (1) 15+ pounds in 15 weeks. (2) Continue my one-hour bike and 2x week strength training at the gym. (3) I am making an effort to not be so sedentary during the 23 hours I am not at the gym.

Don't give up! Don't do it! Fitness is my goal, not just weight loss. Add lots of friends. My friends motivate me. If I can do it, anybody can. I am 64. I have COPD/emphysema. I got a power chair/wheel chair and that catapulted me into a new dimension of thinking. I got busy at the gym. Found I could do 30 minutes on the…

Thank you for this. I relate. NSVs (non-scale victories) abound, if I focus on them and not the scale.
-
Congrats! I am so happy for you. You inspire me!!!

You can add me as a friend. I have a group of friends that give me the highest motivation possible: COMPLIMENTS!!! Any day that I eat calories under my goal and exercise is a day to celebrate. My weight is coming down very slowly, .5 per week average. But this site has taught me what "NSV" means = NON-SCALE VICTORIES. I…

I relate. It is trial and error for me. I did 16 weeks of Weight Watchers last year and lost .5 each week without exercising. I definitely could not eat everything WW told me to eat and still lose. If I ate over 1,000 calories a day, I could not lose an ounce......... Now, doing an hour on the bike each day and…

Look for the noodles in the refrigerated section where you will find tofu. I had looked in the wrong place in several stores, then found them in my usual store, "Food Max." I read online that Trader Joes has them too. I think most stores do have them, but our big Asian store didn't have any, and didn't have tofu either.…
