My gym doesn't allow grunting! Seriously, you will be asked to stop or leave. There are also certain lifts.you can't do (idk which ones) my gym used to be known for being the "meathead" gym (sorry, mean word) and they want to change that so people who aren't as fit still feel comfortable coming in.

Could be soooo many things, I'm anemic and when I don't get enough iron, I'm the same way. Burning a ton of calories and not eating enough can cause that, poor sleep nightly can also cause that, ect.

Me too! I started eating my 1200 cal to build muscle and gained a half inch on my waist, not my arms! I do tons of cardio, legs get thicker with muscle. Ugh. Never ending battle! I suppose I just have to live and love it. Can't fight genetics!

Some of these responses make me wonder what I'm doing working out, building muscles, and losing curves....oh wait, because that's what I want....to be healthier, have more endurance, flexibility, and strength, and BELIEVE ME, my man will benefit from it ;)

Ok I'm going to try this "planking" is there anyway to do squats with machines? Lol free weights scare me. Dead lifts are what I injured my arm doing. I didn't have much weight on the bar but I also hadn't started the protein shakes and.was eating under 800 cal a day

Thanks! A few things she pointed out were my shoulder blades stick out of my back ( I thought that was kinda normal, and I liked it), my chest plate is visible ( I lost my boobs :( ) not so cool, but not sure how to fix that. I knew that wasn't cute.

Thanks, but my concern here, really, is to find those exercises that slim thighs and firm stomachs. I had planned on toning up anyway, maybe I should have left out the back story that kind of made me even more determined to do so.

I eat granola in my yogurt and.also eat a granola trail mix bar everyday. It sustains my appetite. I think they're just peachy. Hasn't stopped my progress. I also on occasion, will have a dark chocolate cherry protein bar. Soooo tasty!

I take a zumba class 3-4xs a week and do an hour on the elliptical on the fat burn setting 2-3xs a week. I use nnw with water and ice in a blender. Cinnamon bun and chocolate peanutbutter are my faves. They are 100% whey which is supposed to support weight loss.
