  • In the past my decision and attempt to start weight loss is usually preceded with me seeing something while out shopping - something that will not fit me. I have bought a few things that are deliberately too small for me as a motivaton to get in shape. Funnily enough I have a band tshirt that I'm aiming to get into which…
  • I'm getting 1200 calories from the thing that set up when I joined, I didn't choose this.
  • So say I have my breakfast cereal, a jacket potato and filling for lunch, some chicken and broccoli for dinner, a coffee, some water, an apple during the day... If this isn't reaching my 1200 cals, then what should I be eating? Trying to find foods that are maybe higher in cals - to get me to my cals target - but lower in…
  • Not sure if some of the repliers looked at my food diary, but this is not every day and I only started MFP a week ago. Before yesterday I didn't really feel hungry, which is why I started wondering now if I'm doing it wrong and didn't know. I've been having my regular meals and stuff, they just have been very lean and…
  • I'm 5'6" and 206lbs.
  • Best of luck Ellie! Our goals are similar and I imagine we will both feel great when we've both reached them - and we will!

Manufactured in same place, some leave the factory in a supermarket packaging, some leave in the fancy branded wrapper. I agree, I…
  • Welcome! This site is a great motivator, it is easier than you think and you will get there!
  • Stopped cheese and white bread and sugary alcohol. Started actually paying attention to what I was putting into my body and realising that it wasn't just gonna disappear - I had to get up off my backside and make it go away.
  • Plan the meals as I shop and tend to have the same breakfast routines so only really my evening meal do I decide on the day. Find that this allows me to choose a lower fat/cals option if I wasn't as active that day and have something with slightly more cals on days I really pushed myself.

  • I'm 5'6", 14st 9, just turned 30 and size 18. Want to lose about 60 lbs, maybe size 12/14 and improve my overall fitness too. Spent too long eating too much wrong stuff and too little time exercising.
  • Bake my salmon in a tin foil parcel, with a frozen chilli cube on top. I serve on a sweet potato mash. This is my evening meal tonight and I love it!
