I can never remember how many I have. :blushing: As a level three weight loss reward, I plan on getting another one. To the original question/statement... along with liking tattoos for the art aspect and the personal meaning behind them, I admit that part of having them also is a cover. If people are looking at my tattoos,…

Purrito is a cute name, but Burrito has a story behind him. Don't they all? :) Burrito and his brother, Potato, had a rough start in life. I basically took over the care of them from day two or three. That included washing their little poop-y bottoms. Sometimes they'd be really messy, so I'd take them in the kitchen and…

All the kittehs are soooo cute!! I love them all! ♥

I just posted a blog about this. :) Just today, I fit into the next size down in jeans, which actually is the smallest I've worn since my twenties.... which was FORTY pounds lighter than I am now. I'm looking forward to seeing what size I'm wearing when I lose another forty! o.o

Thanks! :D That would suit him as well - he has a very loud motor. ^.^

One of my kitties, Burrito. :)

Just saw this topic. :D Born and raised, proud Hoosier. Stop Light City is my hometown, but I live in Miami Co for the time being. :)

113 miles on my stationary bike. I had to take a week and a half off due to being ill. :(

D: I'm so sorry about your ring! I have to be very, very careful of that myself. I have my great grandmother's initial ring, (I was named after her and before I married, we had the same initials.) If I lost it, I would want to die, so I feel your pain. Annoying NSV for me is my bras. I can't afford to buy new, so I just…

"Holy crap!" <--I said that out loud when I saw your second photo. Wow! I'm 5'9 also; I want so badly to be at your current weight. You look so nice. Thank you for posting... such an inspiration.

We went out for the first time in a very, very long time. My husband had a few beers, our friends were blitzed. I drank diet coke. When they asked if I wanted anything to drink, I said, "empty calories, dude! Empty calories!" They laughed and went on with having a good time. 'Course we all are very easy-going and razz each…

It can get a little boring, but the upside is I know exactly what I can have every day. I rotate between the four meats (beef, pork, chicken, fish), four sides (rice, potatoes (scalloped and mashed), beans), and four veggies (peas, corn, green beans, carrots). Very occasionally I'll mix things up and have spaghetti or mac…

I was feeling pretty good on Wednesday after skipping exercise on Monday and Tuesday from being sick. So I did my home lifting session and my 30min stationary bike ride. Yesterday, I felt worse than ever and today it's not good either. I absolutely hate the thought of missing exercise, but I'm going to take a break until…

A few years ago when I lost 60+ pounds, I quit logging and gained most of it back. Lesson learned... if I'm going to keep it off, I need to log. It's very easy to slip back into bad habits after a year or two of weight loss and no tracking; a few chips becomes an entire bag all too easily. o.o

That's the first thing I do before I take my first bite; plan out my entire day, including snacks. I very, very rarely go over my calorie allotment because of this. For me, pre-planning is one of the vital keys to success. :) Edit to add: I do go back in and make adjustments as needed during the day when necessary. Gotta…

What I did was drop my exercise down from an hour and a half of cardio six days a week to 30 mins six days a week, started lifting at home with adjustable dumbbells. And this is the key, I think: I started zig-zagging my calories. I've been dropping weight like crazy now. I've been zig-zagging for a little over a month and…

I would love to hit my halfway point by Christmas. That would be an awesome present. :D

My favorite is Jet-puffed chocolate covered mini-marshmallows. Only 5 calories each. I usually eat between three and six depending on how many calories I have to spend. The perfect chocolate/sweet tooth cure for me. :D

I was exercising like crazy, eating about half my exercise calories back, staying completely rigid with the whole system. And not losing anything. Not pounds, not inches... nothing. So I decided to take a cheat day, then go right into zig-zagging. I cut exercising way back, (I do 30 mins on my stationary bike six days a…

Plain green peppers. Or if I'm right at the limit, I eat 0 calorie kosher dill pickles and drink a bottle of water. :)

I actually have a perfume oil that smells like a lovely smokey bacon. It was an April Fool's Day scent from an indie perfumer. I like layering it with the coffee perfume oil I have. :)

OMG! That looks and sounds sooo good. I'd planned on fixing chicken for supper tonight anyway. I think I'll go down to the store and buy a snack bag of Doritos and do this instead. My boys will probably love it too. :) Thanks for posting this!

Holy sha-wow!!! You look fantastic! Thank you for sharing your tremendous accomplishment!
-
No, I'm not at that point yet. Perhaps when I'm a little further along, I might have the courage to finally share. This whole journey is not only about weight loss/becoming fit, but also a tremendous mental battle. Confessing my weight is one of those many hurdles along the way.

My cats don't usually bother me when I'm working out, but as soon as it's over and I'm stretching, they love to rub against my sweaty legs. o.O I keep telling them to not do that, but they don't listen to me. :ohwell:

My diary's open to the public and I log every day. Anyone is welcome to add me. :)

Our community has some severely obese children. Whenever I see them, I want to cry. How can those parents do that to their kids? There's no way all them have medical conditions, so it must be the parents. One little girl just breaks my heart every time I see her. She's in grade school and morbidly obese. :( There is a flip…
