Please explain.

Please explain how this is bad advice.
-
Hilarious.
-
It will, but keep in mind weight doesn't equal fat loss.
-
Eat with what you're comfortable eating around. If you're eating 1330 calories a day and you feel fine, stick with that. If you're wanting to retain muscle, be sure to up your protein macros though.
-
Glancing at your exercise log, I'm seeing days where you're burning over 1000 calories. I think you're vastly over-estimating.
-
No, I told her to not worry about the mythical 'starvation mode' and if she's feels good with her caloric intake then continue on. Please read things before you make assumptions.
-
Thanks, WBB55. That's good stuff.
-
Nobody advocated she starve herself. She said she has splurge days so I think it's safe to assume she's not starving herself.
-
I know, right? Science? *rolls eyes*
-
If she's looking for pure weight loss as her goal, it is.
-
I don't know how to respond to this because it's contradicting of my suggestion.
-
Except she explicitly asked about starvation mode.
-
So that's a no to science? EDIT: Oh I see, this is damage control for just reading the title and making an assumption. Thanks for the laughs.
-
The irony is hurting. How do I make it stop?
-
Giving the right advice? Did you even read the conclusion of the link?
-
I have a really hard time believing you're burning 800 calories through exercise.
-
Move more, eat less.
-
No, it doesn't make a difference.
-
http://examine.com/faq/how-do-i-stay-out-of-starvation-mode.html Eat what you feel comfortable eating. If you can consistently eat at those calorie levels and stay sane, then all the power to you.
-
You can do it!
-
[Citation Required] Really, I'm actually interested in reading something that supports this.
-
How about you just run/jog? It is much more accurate to calculate calories burnt v.s. some generic workout dvd.
-
I think you're over logging exercise. I have a very hard time believing those calories burnt in your exercise logs.
-
Find ingredients and greatly overestimate the results. I generally plan and revise.
-
Something tells me you were never doing it the 'right ways'. Re-evaluate where you could be going wrong.
-
You can't pull yourself out of bed an hour earlier? There's no need really. What's the difference? It's been a rough week, right? You've done well so far, right? Why don't you just sleep in? So what if you're not getting your daily workout while others are? So what if you once imagined a more healthy you? So what if others…
-
Yes, obviously. That's why you're not losing weight.
-
Move more, eat less.
-
No, I generally rely on proven diet and exercise over alternative medicine methods.
