The HRM includes calories you would've burned resting. Figure out your BMR for 1 minute by dividing your daily BMR by 1440. Multiply that by the minutes you exercised. Then subtract that from the calories your HRM gives you. :)

I don't log mine since it's something I do everyday. I think it should be included in my "lightly active" selection when I used the goal calculator.

I use Cardio Trainer when I walk or jog outside 'cause it does GPS tracking. I've found it's not as effective with indoor exercising.

lol me too! I didn't even gain any weight my freshman year. I gained it all after I stopped eating dining hall meals and started eating fast food all the time.

I officially weigh-in once a week, but I get a little antsy and weigh myself a few times during the week. But there's a lot of fluctuation so the only weight I take seriously and record is my weight on Tuesday mornings. :)

My lowest weight (freshman year of college) was 197 and I wore a size 16. I'm 232 now and I wear an 18 so...really similar situation. I guess it depends on where you lose/gain weight the quickest. I know I lose inches on my waist a lot slower than I lose lbs.
