That sounds perfect. If what you are doing is working, go with it! :flowerforyou:

Well, the Jawbone also starts with a basic calculation (likely "sedentary") then adds actual movement instead of estimated. Sometimes, with exercise, it's hard for a device like that to measure intensity. Again, I can only speak for Fitbit, but some exercises I have to manually add (lifting, biking, etc) because it was not…

I use a Fitbit, not a Jawbone, but I would think it would record the calories burned sleeping, so you get a total 24-hour picture. If your TDEE is 1800-1900 and you are eating 1700-1800, you should see no to very slow weight loss. Hopefully a Jawbone owner will jump in.

I just did French Chicken last night. About 3# of frozen chicken breasts Sauce : bottle of french dressing, can of cranberry sauce, packet of onion soup mix. (I mixed these together with my hand blender so they were smooth). I served over rice. Sounds weird, tastes good.

How much is it telling you?

Not new for the US, I had mine start last January (I live in Wisconsin). Got shipments through August. I loved them for awhile, but ended up getting sick of them. You are correct, though, there were snacks I would not think of eating otherwise.

I don't mind it. I like it light late in the summer. Last week it was still very dark when my kids went to school - not safe for little ones out there. We all sprung out of bed nice and early this morning. I'm in WI.

Hand blender - quick and easy.

Wow, you look like a different person! Congrats and keep up the great work!

Be sure to think long term. Having two kids that were 2 and 3 and even 9 and 10 was not too tough. Two teenagers is very different than that. Not bad, just different.

Never heard of it. I think it's ridiculous. You are creating a family together. That IS the gift. The birthing just happens to be the female's role.

I had it, and did end up canceling. I also thought it got expensive for what you got, but I liked most everything and the variety was good. And canceling was easy, too.

Then just use whatever sweetener you want? Just adjust the calories. 1/4 cup of real sugar (or something else) spread out over 48 muffins is not going to make a huge calorie difference.

I want in! Currently doing a "loose" version of Jamie Eason's LiveFit (lifting 4-5 days instead of 6, following a different meal plan). Calorie goal currently set at 1892 - based on 11xbw. 5'10", currently around 170#, goal of 135#.

I want my kids to experience things now - it will help shape their decisions later. That being said, we do have to be choosy - money is limited. I was also given good advice on finances, and it was - save for your own retirement, not for your kids to go to college. You can get a loan for education, you can't for your…

My weight loss is slow. Has been for the last two years. That being said, I did a marathon in May, so lots of cardio and very little lifting from January-May. Took a bit of a break for a couple months, working out here and there. August 1st, started lifting 4-5 days a week, and cut WAY back on cardio - we are talking a day…

At the moment - single leg dead lifts.

From a former smoker (smoked 15 years, smoke-free for 4) I assure you those benefits don't actually exist. Well, the pleasure maybe. That being said, best of luck in doing whatever you need to do be completely free. It's an amazing feeling.

^ That's what I was wondering.

Had you not listed your age, I would have never guessed. Fantastic, you look great!!

I am sure the weight will come back off - the body will react to the meds AND the rash by storing water. I know in cases of things like a sunburn I will be up several pounds, also. Heal first, worry about weight later. Take care!

I didn't read all the replies, but I am more bothered by Athleta's sizing. I love their clothes, but when I went in I was told to order a size down. I tried on medium tops that were generous. I am a 5'10" female with broad shoulders, I really don't wear mediums right now. Why size it down, so I will "feel" better? Lame.

I agree with slowing down, even if you think are you are going slow. When I started, my normal paces were from 12:00 - 13:30 per mile. Also, try and out and back route - if you go out 1 mile, you have to get home! :)

Don't forget Mighty Maple! :)

You can do TDEE - 15%, or even 10%. You would lose at those numbers, too. Why did you pick 20%?

I have Turbo Fire and I love it. I use it among other activities as opposed to doing the "program" - but it's fun and I feel it the next day! Look on amazon or ebay, too - you might find it for a better price. I don't like Beachbody as a company, but that workout is fun.
