  • You seem inappropriately angry. I personally like it when people wear clothing that flatters them rather than not.
  • I am close to someone in a similar situation, and it IS sad. 15 years ago the age difference didn't matter - it does now.
  • Roasted with butter! We melt a few tablespoons of butter on a cookie sheet, brush it out to cover the entire thing, then sprinkle with seasoned salt & garlic powder. Cut the sprouts in half and lay them cut side down in the butter. Roast at 400 until they are as cooked as you like. I could eat the entire pan.
  • 1/2 cup almond milk 1 cup strawberries 1/2 avocado 1 T honey My fave.
  • I assume there is a lot we don't know. Him telling her he won't miss her when she is gone and using this spreadsheet as an example sends a message that's all she is good for. He very well may have made her feel that way in the past. That could be a driver in her not wanting to be intimate - but by all means, blame her. And…
  • If you are going to throw away any part of the egg, make it the white. The yolk is where all the good stuff is.

  • I steam it and use it like pasta.
  • However, calling it a vegetable simply because the general population is wrong would not be any better.
  • I am just going to put this here again. A long, but very worthy read:
  • You've lost 1.25 pounds per week. That's great! What did you want? And, yes, weekend cheating can absolutely destroy 5 days of effort. Although, in your case, it hasn't. Congrats on your loss!
  • You should log the elliptical manually in the fitbit app. Strides are not steps, and it's not designed to count those. It will correct itself in calories burned if you log the time you were on the elliptical. Logging the time is crucial.
  • 2012 Equinox. "Consuela". "Connie" sometimes. I have no idea why, but she was nameless for too long. :)
  • Your group caught my attention! Just finished my on ramp in March, so I am new to CrossFit but love the challenge. I was a runner before that, did a few marathons in a few years, but didn't make me the strong fit mom I want to be. Congrats on your loss! I am not seeing the scale move too much right now, but my clothes are…
  • Actually, my very first piece of advice IS to refer to yourself as an ex-smoker. As soon as I changed my mindset from smoker to nonsmoker, the game changed for me. (I quit 5 years ago after smoking for 14). Nonsmokers don't smoke. Ever. I also agree with just stopping - I don't personally agree with swapping one habit for…
  • Olive oil is a healthy fat. Fats are calorie dense. Any oil touting itself as low calorie is not oil, and likely not very good for you. Work in the calories, there is more to our food than their calorie value. Olive oil is worth it, IMO.
  • Both. It's not one or the other - they each serve a different purpose, which others have explained for me.
  • You can Google articles for yourself, but increased urination is a by-product of burning glycogen, which is what you do in a calorie deficit, especially in the beginning. So, barring a medical issue, it basically means your program is working, and that's a good thing!
  • In my case I'm just... toning tone...
  • Yes, vaccinate! The crazy folks against it have been blessed enough to not have to worry about their children contracting polio and other horrible diseases. And the reason they don't have to worry about that is... um... VACCINES. My grandma was crippled by polio. Awful. I do allergy shots, too, which are similar. I think…
  • Congrats on your three weeks! At this point, the craving is mental and not physical. YOU DON'T WANT TO START OVER!! Do you really want to reset your quit clock?? No other tips, unfortunately, just a lot of strength and will. You are so much better than cigarettes. Good luck! My quit clock hit 5 years on 2/5.
  • Wow, that sounds great. Mine was done TV, but I was still off of work for a month. Things must have changed in 11 years!
  • I am sorry for your injury! I had a grade 2 strain last year, and healing does take a long time. You got some wonderful advice, I second it all. When I could start bearing more weight, I started "shuffling" for lack of a better term. Light steps, short range of motion. While it was wrapped tightly. That felt good. A good…
  • You can friend me if you would like. I am 34, and had my hysterectomy when I was 23. Early stage cervical adenocarcinoma. Kept ovaries, healthy and happy today. Recovery is hard, but not too bad if you take care of yourself. Don't worry, you probably won't want to run for a little while after. :flowerforyou: I was not a…
  • I actually just stopped snacking at the theater. I thought I would "have" to, but if I eat first and get a beverage, I really don't miss it.
  • I would start him with weights. My son started lifting around his age and has been for about two years. His strength is awesome now. He is getting his younger cousin involved, and his cousin now has had some of his friends join. They lift at school - does the high school or middle school have a weight and fitness room…
  • Everything jonnythan said. Thanks for making my responses easy, man.
  • Losing body fat would be my suggestion, then. Of course, skin condition after growing and shrinking will also make a difference in appearance.
  • Appearance of larger breasts is completely individual, depending on amount of breast tissue to begin with, total body fat, and other factors. The OP said "tone THEM up" which isn't possible. Of course there are exercises to work the muscle underneath. How that will make breasts look is anyone's guess.
  • Not sure if you're serious. Boobs are not muscles.
  • Struggles with low self esteem... so naturally, underwear pic online.
