Most of it had come off over the space of a year previously but I still looked very bottom heavy, the insanity finally shifted some of the fat of that area as I didn't feel I could eat less at that point so just created a deficit with exercise. You can't see my legs in the second photo but can get the idea of the width of my hips. I lost about 30 pounds and am a classic pear, the first photo was just after I had finished Insanity and was in the best shape of my life!

You're right, I know my body well enough to know when it's getting bigger so why not the other way around?!

Thanks for your reply. I am losing slowly, it's been made more difficult to measure weight as a recent trip to the South African Cape and it's winelands resulted in a bit of gain! That has now gone but all the time I am renovating I'm away from the scales so I only get to get on the scales once a fortnight at the moment.…

I'm a classic English Pear. I lost about 28lbs in total, the first photo is about 5 yrs ago, have maintained for almost 4 years but it wasn't until I did Insanity that I lost the bulk around my bottom and thighs. Still a pear which is fine with me but not so pronounced which makes it easier to buy dresses!
