You're going to get a ton of mixed feedback on this one... don't take it personally when folks here chastise you for wanting to lift light. I say do whatever you enjoy most. If you like both cardio and weights, I would absolutely go for a mix between the two. Just push yourself, eat healthily, and have fun!

I actually get almost all of my protein from vegetarian sources... I don't usually eat meat unless I'm going out to dinner and somebody prepares it for me. That being said, I usually get enough protein in with non fat Greek yogurts, Kashi Lean cereals, veggie burgers (Morningstar Farms makes a great spicy black bean…

If eating Lean Cuisines for lunch every day works for you, then go for it! Just make sure to really read your labels... even though it says it's "lean" it may not necessarily be the healthiest or best option for you. As far as not losing any weight since the beginning of the week, as long as you continue to exercise and…

Diet Cherry Coke, Diet Cherry 7up, Diet Sunkist, and Fanta Zero!

Ahhhh that would be me. I always have to see what the driver next to me looks like, what they're doing, etc. Sorry haha.

I can't tell you about the bolognese sauce, but the serving size for just plain, dry pasta noodles is 56 grams which is just under 2 ounces. For most pasta brands, it comes out to about 200 calories, 1g fat, and 41g carbs.

Haha love this.

BMI isn't the most perfect indicator of your body, health, and fitness, but I do think it has a lot of merit. Unless you're an intense athlete, I think it gives a reasonable estimate of where you're at. It's hard to look at the word obese and say, "Hey, that's me!" mostly because we always imagine obesity to be this…

Age: 21 Gender: Female Married: No Kids: No Goal weight: 145 Current weight: 186 Height: 5'7" Favorite exercise: Walking Least favorite exercise: Running Pets: Two beautiful labradors! I generally dice some onion, chop up some tomato, squeeze some lime juice, and add a bit of hot sauce or chili powder to a bowl and then just mash up the avocado in it. I don't really measure anything out... I just add as much of each ingredient as I like.

Agreed!

I either leave my rings in my bathroom at home when I go to the gym or I put them in my purse and keep it in a locker.

Three is my favorite. If you feel that it's not appropriate though (I think it would be for most weddings) then I would go with number two. You look fantastic in all of them though!

Oh and I forgot to mention, the amount of fluid lost is going to be different for every person based on kidney and liver function as well as the amount of excess fluid already in your system.

Well spironolactone acts pretty much like a diuretic. If you really wanted to see how much weight you were losing as a result of the medication, you would record strict intakes and outputs (you would need to measure the mLs of liquids you put into your body and well as the mLs of urine each day). Ideally our body likes to…

Weight comes off of my chest the fastest and just wont leave my stomach or thighs. I'm turning into a pear over here!

Bikram Yoga is seriously intense but I loved it when I used to do it. The first few classes I'd take after a hiatus were always incredibly tough, but by the third class, you really start to get into a groove. It's amazing how well your body adapts to the heat and how quickly you can pick up the poses. I love Bikram because…

Feel free to add me as well! I'm on all the time.

No, but I wish you weren't wearing the glasses as neat as they are!

1. Diet Coke 2. Pineapple 3. Strawberries

Well everyone else's sound a lot healthier than mine, but I'll share my recipe anyway: 1 cup Minute Maid Light 15 Lemonade 1 6oz cup of Chobani non fat plain yogurt 50-60g fresh pineapple 50-60g fresh strawberries I toss that all in the blender, let it go for a little bit, and then add in a handful of ice cubes and select…

I bought a food scale, a kick-butt blender, and some hiking boots.

Increasing the volume of food you eat will probably help give you the "full" feeling you're looking for.

I really love my FitBit. If you're looking for something to track calories burned, I'd recommend a heart rate monitor over the FitBit. But all the tracking features are really great (aside from calories), it's really small and non-obtrusive during the day, and the battery life is pretty substantial. Over all I'd definitely…

You obviously look fantastic, but can I just say that that has got to be the cutest kid ever!

I'm sure you're going to get some pretty extreme views on this even though it's just low calorie juice haha. Personally, I don't think it's all that bad. The issue is when you think "OH HEY LOW CALORIE" and then you don't measure it out and end up drinking way more calories and sugar than you bargained for. I have a cup up…

I weigh myself every morning and obviously keep a mental note of where I'm at, but I only record it on MFP if it's a loss or if it's very clearly trending upwards steadily.

Oh girl, alcohol is ALWAYS my calorie killer. It's tough because on average, an ounce of vodka or tequila has around 70 calories and a glass of wine can easily put you over 100 calories. In general, when I know I'll be drinking I make sure to exercise plenty in the morning and fill up on high density, lower calorie foods.…

I have the Cuisinart CPB-300 and I absolutely love it. I think the complete package with all the cups is around $50, but since I was dying for the purple one that was out of stock, I took the sample blender with just two cups for $25 total at Sur Le Table. The quality is fantastic and it's brilliant for basic smoothie and…
