Wishful Goal - 10lbs Realistic Goal - 7lbs Lots of social plans already made - but trying to do 5:2 to do damage limitation in between !! Good Luck…

  • You can also work ur pelvic floor muscles and ur tummy muscles whilst sat at ur desk - all of which help core strength. And a good few bum squeezes to tone the glutes ..... Just a few little ideas ....

  • Ditto the above - fantastis work - & excellent motivation. Well Done :-) x
  • I too have what i like to call 'chunky thighs' ... i have always put this down to being under tall (at only 5'2") but a classic hour-glass, & even before i weighed as much as i do now i have always had chunky thighs. The only plus i have for them is that whilst they are chucnky they are incredibly strong - but even tho…
  • Bump ... need to read & understand this properly. Thanx
  • Hi Bailiey, I started n the C25K last year around april time - and whilst i wasn't strict about doing it 3 times a week and then upping to next level, i did progress through it at my own pace until the weather changed. & i can honestly say as a non fan of runnin i really enjoyed it - and can't wait to get started again on…

  • Did anyone say E.T. ..??
  • Like the sound of this .... Feb is the month for me too so count me in :-)
  • Yoga is excellent - but it does take time. I agree with the above - a good teacher will advise on how to make the most of the poses. One thing i was always told with yoga is that its all about your own personal acheivement and not about what others in the class are doing - so keep going - and you will get better. Don't…
  • Ditto all the abovw - C25K is brilliant at building up endurance etc. But i would also recommend swimming - i have found that i swim better by doing the running - and run better for doing the swimming as it all helps the lung capacity and breathing. Good Luck
  • Bump ..... this sounds interesting - esp sine i have considered/attempted the two day fasting versions as well ....
  • HAven't noticed eating more - but def exercising less. Am going to try a lunchtime wander tho - its quite sunny here so thought i'd make the most of that at least !!!
  • Amazing Inspiration - & you couldn't be more right. Its exactly what i need to hear on a daily basis - & even more what i need to do on a daily basis. Thanks for the push in the right direction ..... & if i end up looking half as amazing as you do then i will be more than happy. Well done Joy - looks like an amazing…
  • Motivation - if motivation were needed - to get back on the 30DS!! Fantastic results - WELL DONE!!! & Gd luck with round two :-) & i luv the cat getting a sneaky look in on the photos too - cheeky monkey lol
  • Sad to say i also tried it last year - & it had little or no effect on me either. Felt very posistve about ti at the time but it didn't really seem to infiltrate my consciousness at all. Didn't have a cd or anything like that - just 5x1hr hypno sessions. Those in themselves were very relaxing - sadly did notihng for the…
  • Kim - i had a quick look - looks like you can log yoga tiem under cardio - but as it looks like its perhaps a bit more intense with lunges etc then i'd perhaps add those in as a seperate line as well under strength ....??
  • Personally i think any downward change is excellent. Everyone will be different on this one because of different body shapes etc. Weirdly i've not lost any weight at all but when i retook my measuremetns they were all down a bit - so that inspired me to keep at it. From my experience the loss in inches will 'seem' small…
  • & veges are great - and cheap too. Make a huge batch of vege soup - add a bit of chilli if you like spicy, and throw in a few tins of beans to help it fill you up. & again you can freeze it in portions - take out in the morning and either have for lunch or will be ready & waiting when u get home for two mins in the…
  • That looks Fantastic - Will be trying that very soon. Thanx :-)
  • That is fantastic work - & i'm loving the sound of (& results from) HipHop Abs .... gonna look it up right now :-) Well Done :-)
  • Ditto above - practoce, practice, practice ...... you will get there in the end. I can do 10 now - started at zero obv but i wouls say start slow - perhpas try one full one and 9 on ur knees - and make sure you're in the correct posistion else you'll only make it harder for urself - plus develop the wrong muscles which…

  • I alos worry about this a little. I only tend to drink water as caffeine has a horrible effect on me - but i do wonder if in the fight against the flab too much water can be detrimental. Thats said tho - i get dehydrated quite quickly so always have water to have - adn suffer the same with cracked lips & dry skin if i'm…
  • I'm in kent - feel free to add me too  Luv you prfiel pic - i have one at home like that too
  • Me too - seem to leak more than the average amount when i do any kind of exercise ... but then i was encouragd recently when i was told / found out that apparently it means that your body is really efficient at cooling itself down. & apparently the fitter you get the more likely you are to sweat because your body is…
