That is awesome. You're doing great! I have been doing the same things and have lost 75 pounds so far by just making better choices and scaling back what I eat. People ask me what I am doing and I tell them.. watch calories and sugar intake is just about all I do. Some listen, some are disappointed I am not on some "fad diet". Some, like my wife, has joined me in the pursuit of being healthier. So keep up the good work and enjoy being healthier.0

This is a superb post, I agree with almost all of it. I've lost a fifth of my bodyweight - 20kg ( 44lbs) - in exactly 9 months following this logic pretty much to a T.....well perhaps 2 cheat days a week but hey, living in London has its temptations ;-)
If I had to disagree with one thing I'd say there is no problem to weigh yourself each day, or even more than once a day. My logic is that after a while you will understand the fluctuations and understand your own body better. One of the things I gleaned from this was that if I have a large lunch ( talking 800 kcal maybe more with exercise ) and small dinner, perhaps even a pile of fruit, it will help my weight loss significantly...0 -
Congratulations Steph, what a pretty girl you are, before and after your weight loss, same lovely face.

Congratulations on so many accounts Beautiful!! Your mind, body and spirit are in sync! You are an amazing person to have the determination to stay focused and share your experience. I'll be there soon and often wonder how I'll share my story....you seemed to have summed it up so nicely. It will come to me....one day soon. Stay tuned...and lots of congratulations on your new love!!! GOD bless you always!0

Your story is definitely worth the read. Well written with a very practical comfort to it. None of this crazy extremism. Being honest about the intake is tricky for me though. It's hard to admit some of the crap I can eat and still lose weight. I really like hearing that the "lifestyle" changes do work over the long haul. I'm losing slowly but consistantly. A little progress leads to a little more.
And not to leave out ....dang, you are cute.
Good thoughts to you and your continued success.0 -

First, congratulations! You seem SO happy with a strong level head!!! Love to see it!
All the advise is great! I lost a little over 10 pounds this year. I am making small changes--one was to measure my cream in the coffee! Oh my, I was drinking SO much daily! I now measure 2 Tbsp and that is all I allow myself. I drink more water because of this small change too!
Anyway, thank you for the post! This is great and you just seem like the nicest! : )0 -
This was really great to read. My friend and I decided to lose weight together via myfitnesspal (we live several hours from each other) We're almost a week in, and reading your advice really made me feel like we can do this. I've never been small, so this is totally new territory for me!0

Thank you so much for posting this. You just really keep it real. I think I live by some of these same rules!! I have been slacking a bit lately and really need to get back in the swing of things!! You look fabulous by the way, your work has really paid off. I am so happy to hear that you have gained so much happiness throughout this journey!! I would love to be friends......0

This is a great post!!! Congratulations!0

congrats and bump!0

Thanks you for confirming to me what I had a sneaky suspicion for: I know macros are important and all, but I refuse to track them. Counting/measuring is enough for me! I worried that I wouldn't be able to lose weight efficiently if I didn't, but you proved it!
Way to go. You're an inspiration!0
