I'm going to be starting this on Tuesday. I almost naturally do this already, I'm never hungry until mid-afternoon anyway. My problem is portions size and I like to eat at night. I'm sure I can do this so I'm very excited. What sort of macros do you guys follow if at all? Is yours just calorie based? Anything extra you can…

Wow, love the sound of the simple. For myself I would love it to contain all the stats but just in a simpler format. I love how it all carry's over to the other pages with what you might have put in on the very first page. Thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks for your input. Yes I know TDEE. What I got here was within 40 calories of what I've been eating at for sometime. Before I began doing HIIT and just to be clear my HIIT routine is one of two things, either 20 minutes of Kettlebell swings or stationary bike, but all of this is keeping my heart rate pretty low, pretty…

omg I'm so frustrated lol. I look at that spreadsheet and cannot tell you the amount of overwhelm I get....sorry, you've put so much work into it and if one understood just how to use it I know it would be invaluable! I have no idea what those numbers would be telling me. I've put in stats but what next? I do have a HRM a…

Ok, I'm going to ask for some help here. I've been at this for 6 months, here is what I'm doing. I'm 57, 5'6" tall, 190. I started out 11 pounds lighter. I work out 5 days a week, 3 lifting and 2 HIIT days. I've been through a reset for 5 weeks, drink plenty of water, macros are focused on, plenty of protein. Although I…

Thank you for doing all this work, that's quite a job.

Thank you for the links!

I keep seeing reference to a spreadsheet. Is there a link to it? Interesting info.

Thanks for sharing the information. Over the last few days I've been curious about this. I'm going to adjust macros as well to see if this does kick something in. I keep trying different things with no progress and know I fall into the Endomorph type and carry fat in my belly and also in the past a huge carb junkie. So…

I bought a heart rate monitor too and 20 min warm up on bike and 50 min working with a trainer and it showed my burn to be 1100! I came on here to see what and if anyone was getting those types of numbers . I have a Timex Personal Trainer too. I think I'll return mine too and get a Polar.

I had originally started at the higher number, thinking I was moderate, gained a couple of pounds but then I dropped down to the lightly active number and have since gained a couple more. Maybe I didn't do that right, which of course right now is a big fear of mine. :grumble: Thank you for checking for me!!

Ok, checking in today, into week 5 and boy is it getting to me. Up about 4 pounds but just feeling so sluggish. In the beginning I had so much energy but now the fatigue has set in and my motivation is at an all time low. Feeling like I want to throw in the towel cuz I want to feel and look better. Still lifting 3 days a…

I have to watch fiber closely too although I like to get it through food its crucial for me so I take psyllium capsules, they are very cheap and can be found in all grocery stores.

Beginning day 10, funny thing is although I've gained a pound I've lost inches....lol I am enjoying the eating, its gotten much easier, I've found a big breakfast really helps.

Completed day 4 and honestly I feel fat lol I haven't gotten on the scale this week but my clothes are tight and I'm a little uncomfortable. But I can say that eating this way is liberating and I know that there is a purpose. I've been travelling for 2 days which was a slight challenge but I tried to bring lots of healthy…

I understand where you are ,I had to do a lot of reading to get there. I've seen others posted but I've also read that this one is the easiest to follow http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ and I would have to agree after looking at all of the others. As I've also read don't underestimate your activity. Unless…

Age: 57 Weight: 180 Goal: 150 Height 5-6" I recently found this group after getting the MFP app for my phone. It was as though a light bulb went off in my head and all that I had been in resistance to all my life finally made sense. I've dieted off and on in my life but not like some people have, so mostly I've stayed…
