If also training for a race than I can see why you'd want to keep running. However you will have to adjust your surplus accordingly as the run will burn calories and affect your strength and muscle gains.

For me, body image is negatively correlated with libido. If I look in the mirror and I'm bloated up like a blimp, any intimate contact almost feels repulsive. I think it's just that I don't want to be seen naked and jiggly. That said, after a bomb workout, the endorphins and the "damn I look hot" muscle pump boosts libido.

I don't think I understand the question. How exactly does adding cardio to a bulking program make it "clean". Also, doing too much cardio defeats the purpose of a bulk. Wow slim fast is high cal! My chocolate protein shake is 220 cals for 50 grams! Add that to a cup of frozen berries, a cup of almond milk, and a tbsp of peanut butter or pb2 (it varies) and yum!

For the most part I agree with you, except that I do take protein shakes. As a working student, it's a lot cheaper than eating enough chicken breast every day to get my 125 grams of protein. Hi! Gluten free and not eating cauliflower for crust. I make real, hefty, carb-laden crust when I want pizza. Now that we've met, we can rag on 'everyone' else gf together :tongue: P.S. if unhealthy food actually had super hero powers, I would be huge trying to make true the statement "you are what you eat".

I weigh almost daily for the sake of monitoring my fluctuations and motivating a good day after seeing the consequences of a bad one. I check in on MFP only once every week or so. Sometimes less if I simply forget to weigh before I eat.
