yeah, I think it's wayyyyy overestimating my calories burned too. During the week, unless I go to the gym, I get about 3000 to 4000 steps in. Today, for about 4000 steps (logged getting up, going to the store in the morning to buy lunch, scampering around the office, going to the store again after work.. Not exactly a…

Momepro- the issue I'm having is that my calorie burns are bigger than a snack will take care of. At times they're half again or more of my sedentary allowance. Like today..... 4.5 mile run plus a half hour of strength training afterward. I treated myself to a late breakfast of pancakes topped with fruit, and came out of…

Thanks! I'm gonna not sweat eating most of my calories back once I'm working a bit harder.

5'6", 215 lbs. Inherently sluggish metabolism made worse by the loss of my thyroid two years ago, followed by a hysterectomy. Im also not the world's fastest runner due to 3/4 of my back being fused. I do the miles, but I'm not lighting the world on fire by any stretch of the imagination. I don't want to adjust my baseline…

I have been guzzling powerade zero like nobody's business. I usually drink one a day to help with muscle cramps and headaches. I'm on my second bottle of it already today though.

Im totally Medication free. Not even otc stuff or birth control. I used to do it periodically when I was younger. Not Often though. It was a super rare occurrence. Ive pitched any food that doesn't require some heinous prep time. Just going back to not keeping food in the house beyond what I need to eat that day.

Nope. No alcohol or any other substances involved. Had hoped I had nixed that problem but apparently not. Am a little stressed right now as I have surgery to fix my chest assymetry in less than two weeks and I'm wanting to eat everything in sight.

Usually it's one splurge meal, the rest fairly similar to what I eat on the weekdays, though I don't panic if it's not as fabby...., which is what I did previously when I lost weight. I'm eating a larger deficit for sure because I'm mostly NOT counting my exercise calories, but with far better balanced nutrition than I was…

And it gave me heinous heartburn. Tried it for a week cuz my friend was selling it.

Find a protein powder you like and run with it. I was always carb heavy and protein and fat light (more protein than fat, but... still). When I'd try to get my protein in, Id end up over calories... But since I added a protein shake a day in, snacking on 100 cal greek yogurts, I'm actually meeting my macros AND staying…

I don't keep food in the house. Unless it's really boring stuff that I will only eat when I'm too broke to get anything that tastes good. If it's good, I eat it. Or if I'm sad, I eat it. Or if I'm bored, I eat it. So... I grocery shop every morning.

Sounds like heartburn. I pretty much have it all the time when dieting.... I drink a lot of water when I'm getting hungry- that often helps cool it down. Or a swig of soymilk... Or I chew a tums... If that doesnt' do it, I pop a prilosec....

My doctor actually put me on 1200 calories. I stuck it out for a couple of months... And... I did lose... I had to give it up- I felt horrible. lots of dizziness, just tired, my stomach had constant acid feeling. I went up to 1500 cal for a few weeks. Now I'm back around 1375 cal. Those extra 175 cal make a HUGE difference…

Where it comes to the kids..... DON"T make extra meals. Unnecessary extra work. Kids WILL eat when hungry. I know. I was a bratty little picky eater growing up too. The options in my house were 1) eat the food 2) have a pb sandwich (sounds magical the first few times but gets tiresome quick) or 3) don't eat. I went to bed…

I'm someone who thrives on routine. Doing the exact same thing every day is about the only way it happens- I recently tried bringing food back in my house- welcome back to the land of emotional overeating... I wake up, I work my dog, feed my pets, make my smoothies for breakfast and lunch, I go to work, I do chores at the…

It's been a week. Give it time. I'm down 30 lbs since new years and there were times that I was ready to give it all up. I was hungry all the time, I wanted something delicious... but that gosh darn scale would not MOVE. And then one day... *boom*, there it went. Whatever it was my body was holding on to just dropped off!…

It's legal in the states. Just highly regulated.

I took it for a month and a week get me over the hump. However, I gave it up and went it alone after that because the side effects were too bad for me- For starters, no amount of fiber and water kept me able to "go"- I was having to take stimulant laxative EVERY. DAY. .... also, I found it made me extremely short fused and…

There are a handful of guys who do yoga at the studio I practice at. Get in, get the basics, and get moving. It's an amazing all-over workout when you learn how to take poses up to their edge.

Hi guys and thanks. having a better time now. The day after I posted this, I weighed in and my body apparently decided to give over and lose a couple pounds, finally breaking 185 per my scale. Today I had my follow up with my doctor... Went better than I was expecting. And I like her scale better than mine... because the…

For me, I've been at it 3 weeks with this app and haven't lost an ounce. I'm very frustrated. I am at 190 lbs, need to lose about 50 to try to maintain functionality and comfort level for major back issues- most of my spine is fused, I have 5 discs remaining, and 2 of those have degenerative changes already) I am working…
