Protein shakes are a great alternative, stick with it!

It doesn't taste as good but you can. I usually just scoop the powder in my shaker cup and seal it then just add water wherever I am. Can't get easier then that.

You really just have to listen to your body, everyone`s different! If you CAN workout all week and feel the strength to do it, then by all means. People should rest every so often though to give your body time to recover. I typically run 4-5 days a week and workout 5-6 days a week.

This! Think of it as a lifestyle change, not a diet. Baby steps.

1g of protein per pound of body weight is the general rule, however this also depends on how much muscle training you are doing. You WILL still build muscle eating less than this! You just won`t be jacked as s**t. If you have a hard time eating your protein, shakes are a great addition to your diet. For me one protein…

Wow... You have a free bragging pass for life! Amazing, great job!

How active are you? Low carb diets aren\t for everyone. I tried it and literally said "F**k this!" But yet I am still loosing weight and getting fit. I eat about 100-250g of carbs a day. Sometimes even more if it`s an intense cardio and workout day. If your active, your body needs it! Your brain runs mostly off of carbs to…

I fell off the wagon 4 times and I got back on! Don't be scared, if you want it bad enough it will happen. I was also an emotional eater and the trick is finding another focus instead of food. You need to only look at food as fuel for your body (as it is), eating the right things at the right times. Treat yourself once a…

I was very similar to you and was chubby to overweight my whole live until last year... I was addicted to food and I couldn't stop. To be honest with you, this whole weight-loss and fitness thing took me 4 different tries to master. Of trying and failing, trying and failing, trying and failing, etc... You need to want it.…

Eat a bigger breakfast and lunch! I know it can be hard but try. Dinner should be your smallest meal and lowest in calories. 2nd to that of your after dinner snack. Sometimes my breakfast reaches 800-900 calories if I have Bacon (Based on my 2000-2500 calorie diet). I'm also very active though!

Although I don't agree with it, I very much congratulate you! That takes a lot of courage and will power!

Like everyone else said, sodium doesn't matter and doesn't really need to be tracked unless you have high blood pressure or other related health issues. There is salt in everything, it has no calories and your body needs it. Just don't go overboard on purpose but eating too little salt is actually worse and will give you…

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard whey protein is by far a big favourite of mine and people I know! They make some of the best tasting powders, Extreme Milk Chocolate is my favourite. I'm also a big fan of Isoflex, they taste amazing too. Peanut Butter and chocolate from IsoFlex has been my top choice overall, even over ON,…

I don't think there is any limit for eating chicken or fish, they are the best forms of protein! But I guess 10 a day would be too much haha within moderation like everything else. I eat chicken every day as well. One of my favourite breakfasts is Scrambled Eggs and Chicken. Ingredients: 2 large eggs, 4 egg whites, 150g…

Not in any particular order, I just copied my playlist... 1. Ace Of Spades by Motorhead 2. The Trooper by Iron Maiden 3. Eye Of The Tiger by Survivor 4. Gonna Fly Now by Bill Conti 5. Killing In The Name by Rage Against the Machine 6. In The City by Kevin Rudolf 7. Tick Tick Boom by The Hives 8. How You Like Me Now? by The…

I like Songza a lot, it's a free app for the iPhone. They have hundreds of different workout playlists you can stream to your phone.

I don't know about health benefits but I crave sweets for breakfast quite often too. I'll usually add some cinnamon and organic maple syrup to my scrambled eggs w/ chicken, it tastes amazing!

One of the worst habits I kicked was take-out food... Now I cook myself almost every meal I eat, but a few years ago I didn't know how to cook a lot and I'd order in dinner sometimes 5-6 days a week. It got to the point where I was getting sick of the take-out menus in my area and had ordered almost EVERYTHING off them...…

This is right ^ Happens to me every week or 2 when I have a cheat meal. Don't panic, it's water weight I swear! One morning the scale showed I had gained 10 lbs over the weekend... then I went for a run and I was 6lbs lighter after sweating my *kitten* off haha. Point is consuming a lot more salt then you normally would…

If you're lost and just getting started, trying a program like P90X, Insanity, Zumba or even YouTube videos is a great start to working out at home. Doing these videos gives you a chance to learn different exercises and moves that are out there and figure out what you like and what works for you. Eventually you'll have a…

Meat is good for you and it SHOULD be part of a healthy lifestyle. Stick to only lean meats like Chicken, Turkey and Fish and chow down! I don't understand vegetarians who know they love meat... there is nothing wrong with being a vegetarian or vegan if it suits YOU. But it's not for everyone. I love animals too and see…

They don't hurt... But if you're eating properly you don't need them, you'll get all your nutrients from your food. Eggs alone are one of the most vitamin packed foods.

Haha yes sir! I have trouble finding it sometimes but lately it's been at Shopper's Drug Mart and Staples, believe it or not.

Well done!! That takes amazing strength and will power. Great work!

To put it simply, you're recovering from a food addiction. I suffered the same thing and I'm still dealing with this addiction. To be successful, you need to ween your body off of the **** you were eating, the same way you would off of alcohol or drugs. For some, you can't do this cold turkey. When you try you get side…

I used to only drink Ice Tea and juice so I had this problem too... now I basically only drink plain water. But the best thing to do is add MIO (0 cal, liquid water enhancer), they have great tasting flavours. My favourite are Fruit Punch, Lemonade and Berry blast. Crystal light is a great one too, I never like the taste…

I usually work out at home, for me the gym is too inconvenient. On my usual days, I go for a 6km run in the morning before work and then directly after work I'll come home and work-out for an hour before I do ANYTHING else. Otherwise I get distracted and caught up in other things and then I don't feel like it :p

400-600 calories is my regular breakfast. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. Always better to eat more earlier! Dinner should be your smallest amount of calories if possible, if not exercise a little after eating. Regular morning: Scrambled eggs and chicken breast with a cup of tea or coffee. - 2 large eggs…
