I was sitting in my doctors office at 323 pounds with severe heart palpitations, a vitamin D deficiency, vitamin B12 deficiency. I felt horrible about my life decisions and realized at that moment that if I didn't make a change, I was going to an early grave. I started that day and never looked back.

I think it depends on how much you have to lose. I've lost 85 pounds in about 6 1/2 months but I still have another 85 pounds to lose. I know the last 85 will not come off as easy as the first 85.

Once you get down to around a size 16-18, the sizes seem to drop a lot faster. I've lost 85 pounds and only dropped 3 sizes so far.

You can adjust them yourself to be sure by clicking "goals" at the top of the page from your home page. Then click change goals and it will recalculate it for you.

You will never know for sure. You have to decide if he's worth taking the chance on. If you can forget the past and it feels right, go for it. If you can't, then move on.

Mine has actually become more regular. I can only hope it goes away the closer I get to my goal weight. :ohwell:

Exactly what I was thinking.

I had a vit D and B12 deficiency about 6 months ago. I started taking 1000mcg of B12 and 50,000 IU gel tabs of vit D (Prescribed by my doctor) once a week. It took me quite a while to feel "normal" again but my vit D was down to 9. Within 2 months, I brought them both up to normal range. I still take 1000 IU of D3 daily…

I can gain 2 to 5 pounds when it's TOM, so yes I'm sure that has something to do with it. As far as starvation mode, it's a myth but you always should eat at least 1200 calories. You can slow down your metabolism if you don't.

My daughter is allergic to peanuts also. She breaks out in hives if they just touch her skin. She uses Soy Nut butter. She says it tastes just like peanut butter. She gets hers at Wal Mart. It has about the same calories as peanut butter.

For me, there are two reasons. I got too comfortable in my life. I married a wonderful man who didn't care how much I weighed. So I got comfortable and didn't worry about what I ate or what I looked like. I didn't have to impress anyone except my husband and he loved me for who I was and not what I weighed. I just loved…

You give me so much hope. I started a few pounds more than you and I'm so worried about saggy skin on my legs and arms but you look great. I can't wait to get there!!

If you click on a meal in the box to the right, it gives you the option to delete it.

You should definitely check with your doctor. I don't think your weight "shifts" during weight loss. I could be wrong though.

In the crisper drawer in my refrigerator. They last about 2 weeks in there.

I agree that you should get a new scale but you also might want to track your sodium. Eating McDonalds will make you retain water due to the crazy amount of sodium in the foods. 8 pounds in one day's is probably unheard of but depending on how much water you drink, and how your body responds to sodium, it could be…

You look amazing! Thank you for sharing.

I'm 256 (and a lot older than you.) I started 2 weeks ago at 261. The weight is flying off of me since I started. I do it 3 or 4 day's a week and I'm sure I'll be at level 1 for a few weeks. I also walk about 2 miles every evening at about 3.0. The first day I thought I was dying but it gets much easier pretty fast as long…

It's not about "never again", it's all about portion control. If you go a little high on calories one day because you ate something you shouldn't have, just go low the next day. It will all equal out at the end of the week. You can't eat a big plate of mac and cheese every week, but you sure can have a portion of it once…

Are you measuring yourself at the exact same spot each time? I've found that it's really hard to know exactly where you measure yourself. Also, it really depends on how much weight you have to lose. I started wearing a size 24 jeans. It took me 50 pounds before I went down to a size 22. I didn't notice nor did anyone else…
