I switched ten months ago and now I love sweet potatoes. I like them baked with either sour cream or cinnamon and butter. So good!

I always did. The smaller you are, the less calories you need daily.

I usually log my whole day either the night before or the morning. That way I know exactly what I'm eating for the day and how many calories I'm having.

Sweet potato, whole wheat pasta or brown rice are my go-to carbs.

I'm 47 and I've lost 120 pounds in ten months on calorie intake alone. I think it's challenging, but it can be done. Everyone is different. Switch some things up until you figure out what works for you. Good luck!

Maybe too much sodium? You might want to track that. It will make you retain fluids which could be where the 4 pounds came from.

I was over 300 pounds and didn't think I was THAT big. Until I lost 100 pounds and looked at pictures. Now I could slap myself for not noticing and doing something about it sooner.

Throw a few healthy snacks into your day. Don't eat just because the calories are there. Maybe eat some nuts or something. They're high in calories.

I think you should just aim for a BMI in the healthy range.

I've lost more than that in 4 months but I started at 323 pounds. For you, to lose that much that fast is going to mess up your metabolism and you'll more than likely gain it all back as soon as you start eating normal again.

The same thing happens to me occasionally. It's your body adjusting to the foods you're eating. I usually take a magnesium supplement. That usually helps.
