I started back to MFP at 246 but had been heavier before re-joining, I've a long way to go but have already lost just over 8lbs. My goals are primarily health motivated, carrying all this weight and eating badly is not good but I have started to dig out some of my skinnier clothes as motivation. :^) Feel free to add me I…

Day 2 of week 2 completed this morning, was a little slower on the initial warm up but faster on the runs once I'd got into the swing of it. Total run was 2.5k but had 2 mins of extra walking to get to the 2.5 :^) Nic x

Due for my 2nd run of week 2 tomorrow and am actually looking forward to it :) If I run in the morning I find I have so much more energy until at least mid-day (way to go bonus results) Andy I hope your runs are going well and it's getting easier for you too, let us know how you're getting on :)

I started the C25k last week and did my 3rd run week 1 yesterday. Am 41 and 230lb so am doing my running inside on a treadmil to minimise impact on my dodgy ankles Tomorrow I start Week 2 so will have the doors to outside open and plenty of water on hand, lol Have sent a friend request and would be happy to have more C25k…

I got the runtastic app beacuse it was supposed to sync with MFP but I couldn't get it to sync (said it was all connected but didn't sync) I'm on Android rather than Iphone so maybe that makes a difference :^( Went back to Accupedo Pedometer which is a great little app (found out about it in a review by the Washington…

Hi All I'm a "cool" 41 and have an on off relationship with MFP (hoping to become more "faithful" lol) Will be getting married on the 5th November so plenty of inspiration, plus I want to have a lovely long life with my Mr Gorgeous. :^) Have just started the C25k and tonight do run 3 of week 1, I'd like my weeks to start…

WHOOP!!! Well done you :)

That's fantastic! I did my first day of C25K yesterday and definately felt out of breath with one a minute running at a time! I'm 230lbs at the moment so am running indoors on a treadmill to minimise the impact - my goal is to run a 5k for charity next year so plenty of motivation. You must be pleased as punch :) :) :)
