I always have to eat the edges of any finger foods before I can eat the middles. My husband knows this and torments me, but I avoid eating anything with my hands around people.

The only way I lose weight is a low-carb diet. But I also have hypothyroidism, which is a bummer dealing with when trying to lose weight. The 'calories in-calories out' approach doesn't hold true for me....the types of calories really do matter. And I hold most of my fat in my belly, so naturally, it comes off first.

My twins are 3 1/2 and I still haven't lost the jiggle around my middle. The first year was strictly survival (I also had a three year old and my twins had sooooo many health problems.) Now that all of my kids are more self-sufficient, I'm working on me. Once I hit my goal weight, I'm going for a tummy tuck. I hope this…

This is such a tough topic! Have you thought about taking her to a counselor or a nutritionist? She could be in a cycle that she's having a hard time getting out of....I went through that at that age. I was shy and socially awkward because of my weight, so I dealt with it by eating more...thus the cycle keeps going.…
