I wouldn't. I work in retail, so I'm always on my feet as well. If it does burn a significant amount above what my body would be burning anyways, then I just think of it as bonus calories.

I've been most successful with buying bikinis that tie around the neck and the back, so that sizing is a little more flexible. I also tend to get the ones that come in S, M, L sizes, rather than in cup and band size, so I think those sizes give more leeway than more specific sizes would.

Crest whitening strips are pretty good! The ones that I just finished using (and I've used them several times in the past) are only 30 minutes a day for 10 days, but there are different lengths of time that you can buy. The set is $20 (I believe).

Would learning how to shoot on the other side (with your non-dominant hand) be an option for you? I used to be an archery instructor and I find shooting with my left hand (I'm a righty) extremely difficult. For me, it feels like even more of a workout because the movement is so unfamiliar. If that's not an option, there's…

I'm at 1200 and I usually don't have problems with it. I'm a very picky eater, so I tend to eat the same things over and over. I often make my own quesedillas or sandwiches at home. Wheat pasta is also common in my diary. I eat a ton of fresh fruit and I usually eat microwave meals (from Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice) for…

False. I've never eaten an entire hamburger.

currently peanut butter, unfortunately. i had a bad experience with it over the summer and now i can't even be near it without wanting to vomit. it makes me very sad. also, soggy bread of any kind, including cereal with milk or bread with any kind of condiments on it. soggy bread freaks me out a ton and i refuse to eat it.

I've never eaten an entire hamburger, an entire piece of pie, a glazed doughnut, a poptart, or mayo/mustard on a sandwich.

I row competitively for my college and in all seriousness, gloves are not the best way to go. They can make it difficult to hold the handle (although that's more of a problem in an actual boat than on a rowing machine) and they prevent your hands from developing the calluses that you need to be able to row comfortably. The…

And if you get really bad blisters, there's a bunch of weird tricks you can do to help them heal. Putting honey on them for about 20 minutes and then washing it off is really good. Hydrogen peroxide will clean them out really well and help them heal faster, but is extremely painful (just a warning!). Taping your hands with…

Thank you! I'm hoping to get better this season...my 2k time isn't where I want it to be.

I'm 5'10" as well, my current weight is 158lbs, and I wear a size 10. According to wrist size calculations, I have a fairly small frame and my goal weight is 140lbs. I'm not sure if that's going to be possible for me, but it would make me very happy if achieved that. I would also like to get back into clothes in the single…

I row for my college, so we have test pieces every season and we also use the Concept 2. I don't actually know what my 500m PR is, because we don't do that test, but I'm sure it's under 2:00. 2000m - 8:14. And we don't do 5000m, we do a 6000m and my PR for that is 26:37.

@shannyfro: 25? and your eyes are gorgeous! [in my picture, i'm on the right.]
