I'll help you! Good job on your journey so far, I'm sure there will be lots more NSV's to celebrate soon.

This post cracked me up! I've had to say goodbye to a few of my favorites as well. Thank goodness I've always had a love affair with sour apples. They provide the crunch and indulgent feeling I craved with some of the other not so good for me choices.

You go girl! That smile is just going to keep getting bigger and bigger, you rock!
-
You are a gorgeous young lady, well done.
-
Oh your post made me smile! I'm so very proud of you and grinning from ear to ear just "hearing" the happiness in your voice.

Welcome to the forum! It's a great place with a lot of support, we are all here to help you on this journey. Feel free to add me as your friend.

You can add me too, I love to motivate people. Anyone needs encouragement? I'm your gal!

I don't think it's possible for me unless I truly was just a skeleton. I'm 5'10' and at my lightest weight of 135 I was still a size 8.

I have a hoop too and cannot seem to do it to save my life which surprises me because it was one of my favorite activities as a kid. Now, I can't even make it one full revolution without it falling. It's just a plain one, non-weighted but is adult size. I'd have to measure to get the exact dimensions. What am I doing wrong?

I love Steampunk, my students think it's amazing when I wear one of my jackets. I like that I can express my individual taste while still being acceptable for a University setting.
-
Feel free to add me as well, I like giving support and heaven knows I need all I can get.

Dublin! I wish people were closer, I need workout buddies.
-
Just try to think that today is only one day out of the rest of your life. You can get through it.

First thing I thought was no way is she 30. You look fabulous!

Election time!

Stomach here too.

My husband is my rock. We've been married almost 14 years now and each day has been better than the previous one. He's seen me thinner and fatter and loves me without hesitation at any weight. He's my workout buddy and my coach. I had a bad attack while out walking one day six years ago that left me almost dead in the bar…

How did you lose it? With hard work of course! Way to go!
-
Can I just say yum! I'm a total calves girl so this is fabulous!

First, 30 pounds is very significant! Well done. Second, it's normal to get discouraged, the same thing happens when I see pictures of myself and they don't match the mental image I have of myself. The solution is to accept, ok, those are not my best pictures but you know what? I'm working hard to change for the better and…

I'm definitely going to try some of these recipes.

What a beautiful family you have, I can see the differences in their personalities just by the picture. I will add my support to the rest, yes, you CAN do this. Look at what you've accomplished so far? You're a strong woman and strong women can do anything.

I want sensitive and caring support. People who understand that for many, this is the hardest journey of their life. I don't need judgement, I know I'm not perfect. However, I'm willing to make changes in order to get results and I want people around me who can lift me up when I need it and walk besides me as a fellow…

Yup, add me to that group as well. Five years ago my high was 292, I went down to 225 and felt fantastic. I managed to keep the weight off for two years and the usual, life got in the way and it started creeping back up. Last year I tried to work with a nutritionist sorta mandated by my husband's insurance to prevent our…

I'm 48 years old and I just got my first tattoo a month ago. I thought about it for years, literally years wanting to make sure it was really what I wanted. My only regret is that I waited so long. I got Eeyore just above my right ankle and it makes me smile every time I look at it. It has deep meaning to me and it's just…

I hate tofu straight but it sounds yummy in these noodles. Maybe now I can have my noodles and eat them too!
-
Look at that smile! Congratulations!
-
I'm trying to get up the courage to post before picks as well, in the mean time, I love your tattoo! My reward when I hit my goal weight is a long wavy tattoo up my back. I can't wait!

I've always wondered why they don't do this. I use to love watching BL because it was inspirational to see these people work hard and reshape their bodies. However, I would get upset because the focus was on huge weekly weight loss and at no point did anyone say that it was unrealistic for most people to lose that much…

I'm not sure it would be such a bad thing to talk this over with your hubby. You don't have to ask him to cut out his favorite snacks completely but just to be a little more considerate of your struggles against eating it. I would approach it from the point of view that while eating that stuff may not hurt him right now,…
