I've heard that if you eat too little, you body goes into "survival mode" and tries to store fat. I've also read that exercise will help raise your metabolism and that's a good thing. Also read that when you reach a plateau, you should eat more protein and lots of vegies. For some reason that is supposed to help the body…

Thanks. I need to learn how to deal in a healthy way with the many stresses in my life. I feel that eating allows me to rest. The only time I rest is when I'm eating...therefore eating becomes a reason to rest. I have to allow myself to rest without eating.
