  • Hey there fellow Minnesotans! I'm from "up nort" myself, though the Army's been taking me all over the place the past ten years. Currently, I'm down south in Kansas. It's great to find MFP, a site to motivate me to get healthier, and to turn to whenever I'm nostalgic for home. Oh, and - Go Beavers!
  • Hi folks - AD Army here, stationed at Fort Riley, KS. Trying to get in tip-top shape for Warrant Officer Candidate School in a few months.
  • Congrats and welcome to the team! The Army can be incredibly rewarding and frustrating, but try to get as much out of it as you possibly can. I might have missed it, but what MOS did you choose?
  • Peter, I wouldn't mind the support. I could use it. It is one of my goals to participate in some sort of race, just to be able to say I've done it! That seems like a far off reality at this point. Tim
  • Joseph, I can relate. I'm in the Army myself, trying to lose 45 lbs (I have a bit further to go) in order to get better at the PT test, and just get out of this bad place I'm in weight-wise. I definitely could use some support and, like you, don't want to have to burden my wife and family with it. Good luck!
  • I just found MFP today, and I'm in for this challenge! I'm shooting for 25. 2Tim
