I shouldn't have stepped on the scale this morning, but I did. I'm up of course. Today is day 5 of eating more and I'm feeling good. In a way I see the "gain" as being on the right track as my body is adjusting to this new way of eating. I did eat a lot of sodium yesterday and had trouble putting my rings on this morning.…

I was only on this site a few days when I found this group. I thought, wait you're saying I can eat a lot of food and lose weight?! This is exactly what I need! I had been eating until 1200 calories and was generally miserable.

Agree with everyone. Hell, if I ran 15 miles I would eat whatever I wanted that day! It takes time to put on weight. One day isn't going to kill it.

I have been for the past few days, but only if exercise brings me below my BMR. I don't typically eat back all of the calories I've burned through exercise. I just started this so I can't report on whether it has been effective yet. Stay tuned!

Thanks for sharing. I have almond butter - not much of a fan, nothing beats real peanut butter IMHO - but this looks like a great way to use it!

Either a fruit smoothie with banana, skim milk, protein powder and some other fresh or frozen fruit; a bowl of oatmeal sometimes with fruit and honey added or cranberries and almonds; or recently started making 2 eggs. Today I had eggs with avocado. Mmm!

I just started - day 2 - and I felt like that yesterday. Today, I still feel full, but I ate differently. Eggs for breakfast with avocado, lots of snacks like greek yogurt and almonds. Frankly, I ate more calories today than I thought I would. I'm currently over my TD - 15% but I haven't done my Ripped in 30 exercise yet…

I started out with 3 lbs weight prior to doing Jillian's workouts and moved up to 5 lbs. Now I'm at the point where some exercises are too easy with 5 and I'm using 8, but not for the full program.
