I'm some messed up chicken with a tilapia head, a strawberry for a butt, and fruit loop hands.

No, what i've been saying is that I had been trying to eat my TDEE and I had still been gaining alot of weight there, I know it's where you maintain weight, but I wasn't is my point. But what I usually eat is probably closer to what you said is my TDEE. Even though i'm almost positive I didn't eat over that, I'll just go…

@Sidesteal Well my point was that I'm still gaining weight, even though I barely reach my TDEE, which should, in theory, make me lose weight, which is really weird and rather disconcerting to me. Not sure how 2000 is gonna help, but I guess I can try it and enter it all in MFP. oh, and to whoever asked, I'm 5'9"

Outside of my workout routine, I'm pretty sedentary. And I probably don't reach that intake level, probably between 2400 and that level. But like I said, I gained 14 pounds in 2 weeks on it. That's the part that worries me the most, gaining 14 pounds from putting my calorie count to a point where I should be maintaining…

I used this calculator: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ I just did it and it came out 3267 I don't have any insulin conditions that I am aware of. I try to do hardcore swimming everyday, and I try to speed walk every once and a while. If not eating enough isn't the problem..Then what is?..

Yeah but still, I would think some of it would be actual weight, since my body isn't used to eating that much...I mean, 12 pounds is alot...

It's official..I gained 12 pounds since i started this higher calorie thing and am back to where i started 2 years ago :(

Wow..Well for one thanks. I don't even know how i can possibly eat 3000 calories...I'm dying here trying to get mid 2000's...I feel like there isn't even enough food for that in the house lol. Well all I can do is try, thanks.

I attempt to speed walk for about 30 minutes 5 days a week. I was going to the gym and doing hardcore weight lifting, and i'll probably be going back very soon.

stats as in my weight height, etc? I'm 5'9" and I weigh 243 as of late, and I'm 18. If you were doing it to run a calculator I just did that scoobysworkshop one and it says my BMR is 2333 and my TDEE is 3617. So i'm guessing try to eat close to 2333 for like 8 weeks or until my weight either starts going down or stays?

No, I hadn't been keeping track with this site since it changed to 1500, but I am doing the gaining at 2500.
